2022, College Sophomore

“How come he's such a busy person when he's only a freshman?” Seonwoo complained as he opens his laptop to start answering his homework.

“What happened?” Jungwon couldn't help but ask, watching Seonwoo from his bed.

Seonwoo didn't speak, he's obviously sulking.

Yesterday, he asked Riki for a help. He needed to recheck his assignment before he pass it to avoid a failing mark again. Riki promised to meet him at the university's backyard, however something important came up that prohibited Riki from meeting Seonwoo.

Today, again, Riki promised to help him with this assignment. However, something very important came up again.

It's the first time that Riki reasoned out a ‘very important thing’. He usually makes time to help either Seonwoo or Jungwon.

“Riki takes double major, and he enrolled fine arts as a minor even though it isn't in the field of his course. He has a complete tight schedule,” Jungwon speaks upon realizing Seonwoo's cause of sulking.

“My point is, he shouldn't make a promise if he's not gonna do it,” Seonwoo said.

“He's probably gonna do it in the weekend, that's only his free time.”

Seonwoo didn't replied back as he starts clicking on his laptop.

“I know someone who can help you.”

Seonwoo almost jumped off his seat when he hears a familiar voice.

“Jay?” Seonwoo screamed when he realize that Jay was actually laying beside Jungwon on the bed.

Jungwon shook his head.

“I was here since you came, didn't you notice?” Jay said as he sat up. “Anyways, I'll call Heeseung, he'd sure help you.”

“For free?” Jungwon ask as he look at his, well, suitor.

Jay nodded before he takes his phone in his hand and dialed a friend's number.

Jungwon finally becomes comfortable around him. They even met each other's parents last winter. However, Jungwon still isn't in the mood to enter a relationship—although they already act like one.

Riki peeked through his phone under the table.

“Why?” Seonwoo speaks as he notices, “Is there something very important that came up again and you can't join us today?”

Clearly, he was still annoyed by the last time.

“I thought that's already settled? Why are you bringing it up again,” Riki answered.

Jungwon sighs as he put down his chopstick. He could feel the thick atmosphere since the three of them sat there.

“Anyways, Riki, why can't we go outside the university?” Jungwon asked.

“It's casting season,” Riki simply replied.

He, too, was tired of eating the university meals. However, these past few days he kept on receiving casting emails from different agencies where he once auditioned to. He knew that if he stepped outside the gate, he'd be chased.

“Didn't you once dreamed about being an idol?” Seonwoo curiously asked.

“Yeah, once. But that life isn't for me, so, nope,” Riki answered.

Riki is a talented person. He have unlocked few of this and is still unlocking new talents. He knew how to make use of it and enjoy the benefits it gives. Riki feels tired of doing something he already knew so he look for something that he isn't good at. Unluckily for him, he's good at almost everything.
