I knew he wanted to know how.
"Y'know I'm surprised." He broke my train of thought and I turned towards him. He was smiling warmly and my beak hung slightly ajar in confusion. "Your room is so well kept. I'm proud, Crow." I just stared at him.

"Crow, it isn't your fault and I'm certainly not gonna hold it against you. I'm just so glad you're okay. I'm glad we found you." Mike interrupted me. Usually I'd get mad, I think, but this was different. He was helping me.
I just stared at him. I felt like I was going to short circuit or just blatantly combust. "Miike-" but instead, I just cried. I wish I could feel tears. See them pour out of my my eyes and feel that release. "Mike" I sobbed.
"I'm here, I'm here now. Crow." He pulled me into himself and held me. I buried my beak under him arm and clutched his jumpsuit. I'm not alone anymore. It's over. He hummed as he held me.
