Beep beep...
Annoying beeping sounds... Opening my eyes to find myself in a white hospital room.
"Maggie! How are you feeling?"
Can hear my mother voice but my vision still clouded by dancing black dots. "I feel fine." ignoring the pain.
"I'm getting the doctor." She said before walking out.
Couple minutes later a tall lean doctor came. "Maggie I'm Dr. William and would you tell me what happen before blacking out?" he asked calmly.
"Just had this really bad stomach pain."
"Pain is here?" he asked.
"Yes."
Taking his hand off my stomach, Dr. William face changed into serious. Knowing this isn't just a typical stomach ack. Right on cue a nurse in her late twenties with brown hair and golden eyes came into the room. "Nurse she need some tests done." He had spoken in a very low voice. For some reason panic moved through my veins.
"Why?" my mother soft voice asked while demanding to know.
"Well, just need to run some blood work and tests to reveal why she been pasting out and Maggie has been having pain in the abdomen."

After all the blood work and poking I know hated hospitals. I lay back down in the hospital bed waiting for my mother to arrive back; Dr. William wanted to speak to her first before me. After what seem like an hour playing with my thumb mother and Dr. William came back into the room. She looked horrible her eye's puffy and red.
"No need to be alarm but something came back in one of your tests and we need to take a cat scan and..." he kept talking but I stopped listing... What could be wrong with me that cause my mother to cry, I usually never seen her cry, only one time and that was from my farther death.
Snapping back into reality after hearing the doctor words.
"I think it would be best if Maggie stays in the hospital." My mothers place a hand onto my shoulder before speaking.
"Honey it's for the best, I'm going home to pack a few things for you then I'll come back."
Both of them left, I slowly drifted into a dreamless sleep.

My mother came into the hospital room holding a small suitcase, must likely filled with books, sketchbook and my cotton pajamas. I need to know what wrong with me... This will mostly change my life forever, I need to know.
"Mother what is wrong with me?" I asked while trying to keep my voice even.
"Honey can I get you something." Said taking a seat next to the hospital bed.
"Mother you're trying to change the subject; I have the right to know what's wrong with my own body!" I snapped.
"Cancer Maggie you have a type of terminal cancer."
