If there was one word to explain how Luna felt right now, it'd be excited. Excited, and perhaps a little scared. Her college had offered her the chance to be a bands' assistant manager for two years, and if she enjoyed it, it could be her permanent job! Yes, she had yet to find out what band and what exactly they were doing, but that was besides the point! She'd taken college classes her senior year of high-school, so she was already a sophomore in Uni. Thank the heavens her adoptive mother pushed her into that, right?

"LuLu? Are you listening to me?" Her aunt asked, merging the old BMW onto an Australian highway.

"M'afraid I missed that last part," the small brunette chirped, smiling at her aunt.

"I said that you have received an amazing opportunity, Luna, and I don't want you to waste it on boys or gossip."

Luna groaned. So that's how the family was going to be. She was on her way to figure out what band she was going to be bossing, and her aunt was concerned about simple girlish antics! That could deteriorate someone's mood quicker than anything. Although, mood-ruining did run in this family. Not like Luna would get any of it though, since the happy-go-lucky girl had moved from a town south of Tokyo, Japan, when she was eleven. It hadn't taken her long to learn the English language, and by eighteen, you could hardly tell she grew up somewhere else. Yet, she did still speak Japanese when she was either distraught or furious, and one could never tell the difference. Michael begged her to teach him Japanese, but she simply called him a "wannabe weaboo" and they didn't speak of it again.

A muttered curse tore Luna from her thoughts again, and she looked up, a gasp escaping her lips as lightning lit up the sky, drops of rain cascading down onto the small car. "I thought it wasn't supposed to rain till later?" She asked, looking at her aunt, who's eyebrows were furrowed as she kept driving. "That's what I heard..."

Her aunt got onto an exit and continued, turning this way and that until the car pulled up to a small brick building, tan with a small black door and several windows. The car lurched as it shifted into park, and the two females got out, running through the rain to get to wherever they had ended up. Luna shuffled her shoes against the mat, pulling a piece of paper out of her pocket. "room 21A, meet your band @ 1:10pm" was sloppily written on it, and she started down the seemingly endless hallway. Her eyes scanned the room numbers until she found what she was looking for, an almost inaudible "aha" coming from her mouth. She knocked three times, waited a few seconds, then twisted the doorknob and stepped into the small room, the real manager, Andy, greeting her warmly. He was about two, maybe three years older than her, and his slightly quiffed brown hair and gorgeous smile could make any girl melt. His arm was soon across her shoulder, twirling some of her hair on his finger.

"You nervous, Lunes?" He asked. "They're not bad, I promise. I think you'll like them a lot, actually."

"The question is will they like me?" She asked, taking her bottom lip between her teeth.

Andy simply smiled at the anxious girl, calling for "them" to come out and meet their new best friend, his hand still around this said best friend's shoulder. The four boys almost toppled over each other trying to race, and Luna groaned and told Andy what was wrong.

This was her brother's band!
