Chapter 5

Bridgett and I walk hand and hand back to my house. I open the door for her and let her in first. She buts her hand on her chest and smiles. "What a gentleman." We both laugh. 

"Just get in." I playfully push her still laughing. Bridgett throws her purse onto the couch and flies over to the couch. 

"Can I stay here tonight?" She asks tiredly.

"Erm...sure. What for?"

"It's Master Cloudworthy," She began, "He's saying that he is going to try something to prevent me from being killed but I know it's not going to work. I just know it."

"Don't be so negative." I tell her sitting down by her. 

"I just need to stay away from home for a while."

"Okay. That's fine." I tell her stroking her hair.

"I am glad I can count on you." She says hugging me. 

'Oh god. I hope the angle gang doesn't track her down and kill us both.' I think to myself. You know, why would I think that? That is stupid of me to think that. They would never kill us both. But, they might track her down. I think around the room then roll my eyes. "I am going up to go to bed." she lets go to let me get up and I head towards the stairs.

"Wait. Ed? Can I sleep with you tonight?" I stop in my tracks.

"Erm...sure come on." She runs over to me and we walk up to my room.

When we get to my bedroom, I hand her some of my clothes to wear. She gets dressed and lies down next to me. "Good night, Ed." Bridgett leans over and kisses me on the cheek.

"Night, love." I turn off the lamp and fall asleep.

Master Cloudworth's *POV*

I rub my hands together as I walk down the hall of the Angel Gang's headquarters. I reach the main room where the five boys are sitting in giant, red velvet chair. "Yes, Cloudsworth. What do you need?" asked the dad of the gang, Luke. I straighten out my jacket.

"Well," I start, "A mortal has found out about us and Bridgett has fallen deeply in love with this mortal."

"WHAT?!" Ben stands up and yells. The rest of the boys look at each other.

"Now, now," Luke says trying to calm down the other four, "We have dealt with this before." It is extremely hard for Ben right now because he dated Bridgett for ten years. He still loves her. It will be the hardest thing ever for him to kill his ex girlfriend. Ben tries to run towards me. His eyes turn blazing red. Jake and Kennith hold him back.

"HOW COULD YOU BETRAYED HER LIKE THAT?!" He scream from the top of his lungs. 

"Take him away." Gabriel orders then waving them away.

"We will settle this right away. Thank you Master Cloudworthy." Luke tells me. I nod my head and walk out of the room.  

Luke's *POV*

"Go retrieve the boys. Tell them to leave Ben behind." I direct Gabriel.

"Yes sir." And he walks away. Once he disappears I settle back down in my chair and sigh. I never knew my sister could be so....so......hear headed. Now I'll have to kill my own sister and leave Ben bawling his eyes out and being left behind. Gabriel appears with Jake and Kennith.

"Are you boys ready?" They nod. We fly out of the castle. I wipe tear away from my eyes as we fly down to Earth.

Bridgett's *POV*

I wake up with my heart racing in my chest. Oh no. "Ed!" I yell, "ED WAKE UP!" I start to yell louder. He jumps and falls out of bed.

"Bridgett what's wrong?! What happened?!" He asks terrified.

"I sense them coming," I look over at him, "The angle gang is coming for us!"
