Chapter 9

James POV:

Though I was busy organizing the events in my faculty I could not forget that kid's face. That annoyed look in that face, the frown-knitted eyebrows everything keeps disturbing me.

I have seen people always surrounding me seeing my handsome face and those who do not like it they will just talk behind my back. Due to which I have not felt this way. He is the first person who looked at me like that straight on my face.

Once the event was over Joe left to the café saying it is unusually crowded and he needs to help other employees. Therefore, I accepted and said that we will visit the staffs after cleaning up the faculty.

I, Dew and other juniors cleaned the mess created during the events and wrapped up things for good. To celebrate our successful completion of fresher day events I planned to treat my juniors who helped us for a drink.

I called our usual bar, booked seats for us, and said my juniors to go to the bar first and we will join them once we visit the café. Dew and I bought some sweets and snacks as a thank you gift for the workers in my café since they helped us in preparing the dessert and drinks for our event. In addition, it must really tired for them to manage all those customers who came.

Before reaching the café, I called Joe asking him to wait in front of the café so that we can take the bags and distribute it to the employees. We parked our cars in front of the café and took out the bags.

While entering into the café I found the same kid whom I saw today in the university. He was waving goodbye to other workers and was about to leave but stopped for a second seeing me. He then looked at me with the same annoyed look.

I could not help but find it interesting, when I was about to go talk to him he smiled at the person behind me. I turned to look at whom he is smiling at and found it was Joe. Then he waved goodbye to Joe and was about to leave when Joe handed him a bag of snacks.

I was confused at first thinking why the snacks to employees handed over to this kid was. Later based on the conversation of him with my friends I found that he is N'Sky and he is the new part-time worker in my café.

Do not know why but I felt a sudden happiness inside me, but my happiness faded away within seconds when I saw Dew messing with my kid. I walked to my friends and shouted at them to come distribute the food that we brought.

Dew said that he was introducing himself to Nong and Joe introduced me to the Nong and was about to blurt out that I'm the owner of the café but before he could utter the word "owner" I stopped him and dragged him inside. We went inside and greeted all the employees. Dew and I handed over the food that we brought to the employees and thanked them for their hard work.

As a way of appreciating their hard work, I offered them a paid holiday. Later Joe, Dew and I left to the nearby BBQ restaurant to have a light dinner so that we can go and have drinks later with our juniors who are waiting for us in the bar.

While having dinner, I enquired about that new kid in our café to Joe. Usually for selecting workers for café, I leave it to Joe since he is the one who is managing the café and I am just an owner so I do not interfere much except when there is some issue.

"Oh someone is really interested on a new kid now," Ai'Dew said teasingly.

Yes, he was right I never showed interest on any kid before because no kid made me feel this way before.

"Ohho seems like it's going to be quite hard for my friend to get a wife/husband," mocking Joe said.

I just brushed off their teasing voices and focused on my inquiry. I just starred at Joe expecting an answer for the question that I asked.

"His name is Sky, a first year sports science student. Got into our university through Volleyball scholarship. He is from Chiang Mai, staying at a nearby dorm along with his friends. This is all I know about him," Joe said when he saw me starring at him.

So he is a volleyball player no wonder he has such a nice athletic body, I thought to myself while digging on my food. Though I wanted to know more about him for now the details, which Ai'Joe provided, is enough for me. I still have time to get to know him since he is working in our café.

After having our food, we went to the bar where our juniors are having our drinks. When entered into the bar most of the eyes were on us. I just ignored all eyes and went straight to the table where our juniors are there. They greeted us as soon as they saw us. Most of them were completely wasted and few hit the dance floor.

Dew, Joe and I had a few drinks and went to take care of our drunk juniors. With the help of our other juniors we took the drunk juniors to their dorm and those whose dorm is closed, Joe said he would take them to his room. Therefore, we carried those juniors to Joe's room and made them lie on the bed.

Since they were drunk, few juniors started blabbering and making noises. We heard a knock on the door. Fluke, one of our junior and last year's Moon went to attend the door. Later he came back and said that it was the next room person who asked us to keep quite since its disturbing their sleep. Fluke apologized to the next door and came to inform us.

We tried our best to quietdown those juniors and finally we went to sleep. The next day I woke up firstsince we have morning classes. We got ready and woke up our juniors in theroom. Before leaving the dorm, I hung a bag of snacks on the door of the nextdoor as an apology for our last night disturbance and left to college.
