By the time Friday had made an appearance, most of the students were more or less settled into their routines. Bustling crowds roamed the halls, most making their way to the Great Hall for breakfast. It was the last day of classes - the weekend being just hours away. This filled everyone up with excitement and an eagerness to finish the day as quickly as possible. Wide grins and lively laughter undoubtedly made the witch's and wizards' morning's significantly better.

The same could not be said of Artemisia. She had awoken to the loud yells of her roommates as they got ready, an oncoming headache being her gift of the day. She groaned and stretched, lightly shoving her friend to the side as she trudged into their personal bathroom. "A 'Good morning my dear!' would've been happily appreciated, you know." Lucinda rolled her eyes. Her best friend had never been a morning person, it was actually quite humorous to see her disheveled state daily before breakfast. Not many got to see this side of her.

The witch got to work on her hair and cast a couple of charms to make her skin look extra smooth. "Well, Lucinda," Putting her wand down, she grabbed her toothbrush. "We don't have all day to just stand around staring at ourselves in the mirror, do we? You're gorgeous darling, leave it be." The blonde's glare returned to a satisfied smile, gently placing her wand back into her pocket. Artemisia finished up brushing before turning towards her.

"I was afraid I was going to have to hex you with that first snide comment of yours. I get you're no early bird, but you must put a plug on your temper, Art dearest."

"Yes, yes I know Luce. I'm sorry, you know how I get." Her friend thoughtfully nodded and left to get dressed, Artemisia following right behind.

Lucinda paused her search for her underwear, turning to face Artemisia with her hands on her hips. "Where are my lacey knickers?! I'm supposed to meet Fredrick tonight, and here's a hint, he'll most definitely see my knickers so give them you little thief!"

"Thief? You gave these to me so I could 'attract the men' last year. Which granted wasn't your smartest plan considering I wasn't going to be walking around in only knickers all day, but I suppose it's the thought that counts." She opened her luggage and shuffled through all the articles of clothing, tossing the panties to Lucinda once she finally found them. "Have fun dearest. You know I'll be thinking about you." Mesia playfully winked at the blonde.

They put on their respective robes while the curly-haired witch added a thin, velvety green headband for some flair. They then walked side by side, meeting up with Cade and Abraxas in the common room. "Let's be on our way then, shall we?" Brax asked, holding out his arm for his sister and leading the way out as Cade went to stroll alongside Artemisia.

Luce talked with her brother, Avery taking his chance to speak with the beautiful witch beside him. "You are irrefutably glowing like a shooting star this fine morning. Although, I assume you were horrified at the time once again." His chuckle was melodic, so much so that it made most people's eyes turn toward them. Not many people could even say they made Cade Avery smirk.

"Ugh, for the love of Merlin, don't remind me. It's like tasting a blood pop after having the worst day imaginable. I'm surprised, for once you've cleaned up nicely." His usual messy robes and tie were perfect and his wild hair had been tamed with who-knows-how-many products. "Have a girl on your mind, you cheeky bloke?" She pushed him playfully, Cade happily returning the favor whilst frantically denying his supposed crush. Yet, as luck would have it, the boy sent her flailing straight into Riddle. Avery groaned internally.

The two unceremoniously fell on the ground in a mess of tangled limbs, flailing books, loose pieces of parchment, and a quill or two. The chatter in the corridor ceased. Tom rushed to push her away, gathering up all of his materials before remembering where they were. He put on a sickly fake sympathetic look and offered her his hand - accidentally getting the perfect view of her rather scandalous green panties as he bent down. For the sake of her reputation, she accepted and allowed him to help her place all of her things back into her bag - Tom was not at all shocked to see that it had an Undetectable Extension charm placed on it. "You must watch where you're going, Ms. Lennox. Are you hurt?"
