Don't Be Afraid of the Dark

Whatever you do don't be afraid of the dark

Shadows have a habit of leaving their mark

Glimmering fireflies won't light your way

They will wait for some other day

Diana won't watch over you tonight

She's too busy fight lions in all their might

In a land where stars don't shine

Where the only broken heart is mine

And one shot is thine

We'll be like this for all time

Nymphs and Niads won't bless thee

Without tossing me into the black torrent of sea

No matter how many deaths I die I will never forget

No matter how many lies that I live I will never regret

This courage that has cursed me to take you in this night

Ne'er again see a light

I can only cry so hard before you find me, brother

I can only cry so hard before I see your ghost again.

The End of the World

Burning golden glorious laurel

Burning a garden with stars so floral

Glimmering golden listening fire

Place here by dragon's ire

Burning grey long forgotten roses

And soft white violets

And black primroses

Icy sheets of simmering sand

Fire and she go hand in hand

Stardust and red moonlight on cracked earth fall

Shining bright with luminous rainfall

Streaming to the glowing ocean

Who's stinging jellies are in full motion

Leaping high one tortured dolphin

Scars marring her columbine skin

Shimmering sand blows from here, the coast

And flies miles, and miles, and miles at most

To a place where moonlit serpents and sunny scarabs

And sparrows hiding in woody shrubs

The little sorry blackened songbirds blot out the sky

Soon everyone of them must die

Taking arms against tempest tossed winds

A lone sparrow flies tilt the toxic fog has thinned

Upon seeing us in the Tiber's wake

He murmurs to us his love heart ache

My echo murmurs across stone walls

To my lover once more before he falls

"I will hold to as the world resolves

Falling around us like sand in a rainstorm

And the sea rises to wash us away

In your arms I stay

Against your chest as time unravels and spots the seams of the universe in two
