My New Family

Chapter Three

          Leaving the adoption agency, I hopped into my car, a Toyota Corolla Cross and leave the parking lot heading straight home. Pulling into the parking lot of my apartment building, I quickly park in my designated spot before exiting, making sure to hit my fob as I walk to the elevator in the corner. Putting my keys in my pocket, I quickly hit the button for the top floor, number 12, I wait patiently as the elevator takes me to my floor. Exiting the elevator, I take my keys from my pocket and open the door in front of me. Walking inside, I survey my apartment to make sure everything is set away before this evening. 

As usual, my place is quite clean and organized as I like it to be, so I don't do much as for cleaning, I just check my spare bedrooms to make sure they are ready for the three incoming tonight. Seeing that I have laundry in the basket, I quickly throw in a load of laundry before checking the bathrooms to make sure enough towels and bathing supplies are available. Deciding to turn on some music, I grab the vacuum and start vacuuming the floors before I hear my music stop playing on my phone. I quickly shut off the vacuum and run over to grab my phone. Seeing the unfamiliar number, I answer with a quick "Hello?" I hear "Hi Y/n!" from the speaker and I quickly recognize the voice as Hobi's voice. Slightly panicking, since I wasn't supposed to get a call unless something went wrong, I quickly ask "Hobi? Is everything ok?" "Yeah, everything is ok! I just wanted to call and let you know that Seokjin-hyung, Namjoon-hyung, and Jungkook-ie are all ready to go, so you could come and grab them if you are free to." 

Getting excited, I quickly confirm with him "I would love to come and pick them up!" Hearing his voice get more excited, he says "Great! I'll see you soon!" Hanging up the phone, I realize that I am about to pick up three hybrids, and I get nervous for them to arrive back home. Grabbing my keys off the hook, I head to my car and start driving to the adoption agency. 

Arriving at the agency, I park and sit in my car for a second before heading inside. Walking up to the counter, I see Hobi, and I quickly and energetically greet him "Hia Hobi!" "Hi Y/n!" He says, moving around the counter at lightning speeds before gathering me into a hug. Letting me go, I ask about the three hybrids that have been on my mind since I left. "Hobi, you said Namjoon, Seokjin, and Jungkook are ready for me to pick up?" He smiles, and states "Yes they are, let me go and get them so you can take them home!" Walking to the door that I walked into when I first visited, he enters, and I start walking around the store area in the front of the building. Noticing a lot of supplies for different animals, I continue walking around for a bit before I hear a door close and a couple pairs of footsteps. 

Leaving the store part of the agency, I walk over to the counter and meet the four standing waiting to meet me. I look at them before I approach and I notice all three of the hybrids standing in front all have backpacks on them in some way. Approaching the four, I quickly greet the new three "Hi you guys, are you ready to head home with me?" Looking over at Namjoon, I smile while he replies "Yes, we are ready." Looking over at Hobi, I ask "Hobi, is there anything else we need before we head out?" "Oh, yes." He noted, "Since you have filled out the paperwork already, and you are taking them home now, you do need to get collars so they can go out in town with you." Looking over at the three standing next to me, I ask "Would you three like to go pick out your collars before we leave?" The three nod before walking over to the collar area before choosing two each, one for their human form, and one for their animal form. I look at Hobi before they head back this way and quietly ask "The collars are only for when we go out, right?" He quickly nods his head in confirmation before the three head back this way. I know I will definitely not force them to wear them at home if they didn't want. 

Asking the three to put their picks on the counter Hobi rings them up and I quickly pay before Hobi rounds the counter and gives me a hug before we start to leave. Leaning over, I try to grab one of the bags on the counter before seeing all three quickly disappear from underneath my eyes. I straighten back up and see Namjoon with all three bags in his hands looking at me, before he turns away. Turning back to Hobi, I tell him to call me with anything, regarding to my three hybrids going home with me today or just anything at all. He gives me a quick confirmation before I head to the my car with the three following right behind me. Opening the trunk hatch up, I ask the three if they would like to throw their bags in before getting in themselves. Namjoon throws the bags in the back before getting in the front seat, with Seokjin getting in the seat behind me, and Jungkook in the seat behind Namjoon. Seeing them settle in, I hop in the driver's seat before pulling out into traffic before heading back home. 

While stopping at a red light, I ask the other three in the car if they would like to grab some food before heading back to my apartment. I hear a "No thank you." from the passenger seat next to me, so I just head straight home. We get back to the apartment safe, and unlocking the door we all walk in. I look to the three standing next to the kitchen table before letting them know this is where they will be living, and to make themselves at home. "You can pick whatever room you three would like, there are two bathrooms, one connected to my room, and one in the hallway. Once you pick, just let me know which room. I'm going to go ahead and make some food, would you guys like some pizza or chicken alfredo?" I hear a voice quietly yell out "Chicken alfredo!" I recognize that voice as the one of the little bunny boy, and I see a happy Jungkook smiling, really wanting the second option for dinner. "Alrighty." I laugh as I start pulling out the ingredients and start cooking as the three break off with their bags in their hands. 

Picking up my phone, I decide to call my best friend, Bo, and let her know of the wonderful news. Letting the phone ring, I decide to put it on speaker so I can continue cooking while talking to him. He finally answers on the fourth ring, and says "Heyo Y/n!" "Hey Bo." I respond. "Watcha want." He asks me. "So you know how I went to work today right? Well, I decided to actually leave early and I went to the adoption agency and I got three hybrids!" I shared. I hear nothing on the other line and decide to ask him if he is ok. I hear nothing afterwards, and I glance over to see if we were disconnected before he yells into the phone "Y/n! What the fuck? I mean, I know you wanted to get a hybrid, but why did you get three?" "They were a package deal Bo. I couldn't just get one or the other, and I mean I felt like I had to get all three of them." "Y/n, I didn't think this is what you would think when I said deals are worth, and hot damn. Let me know how that goes, I am going to bed now, love you!" He voiced. "Bruh." I said. I look over at my phone, and I see that he hung up on me. I swear, I don't know why I am still friends with this guy. 

I finish preparing the chicken, tossing it in the oven before I grab the sauce out of the cupboard, since I don't feel like making the sauce myself. I decide to go find the boys, since I haven't heard anything in a while.
