(Hello, everyone. I apologize for not updating this book in months. I got sidetracked by many things. But now, I can finally update this. This chapter may be short so I'm sorry for that. I hope you all enjoy this chapter.)

I opened my eyes to find myself in the empty void with flames swirling around me again. Why was I back here? What significance does this place hold? I sat up and looked around. Nothing but inky blackness for miles and miles. I knew I was unconscious since I was here.

I suddenly heard a distant voice, echoing in the darkness. I looked around to find the direction it was coming from. I heard the voice again from behind me. Though it was distant, it sounded like it was calling me. I floated in the direction of the voice. As I got closer, the voice became louder and I could see a house of some sort that was blocked off by a gate.

I came to a stop once I reached the gate. Whoever or whatever was calling me was in that house but the gate stood in my way. I suddenly heard a voice whisper into my ear. "Use your flames." The voice said. Use my flames? The flames that surrounded me? I lifted my hand in front of my face. Flames swirled up my arm, hand and fingers. I slowly held my hand in front of me and aimed at the center of the gate.

Flames shot forward and slammed into the gate, burning it to ashes in seconds. I was shocked but continued forward. As I walked along the pathway to the house, my flames lit up unlit torches as I passed them. The house itself was beautiful. Beautiful marble pillars and walls of white sandstone with plants and vines decorating the outside. I felt a sense of familiarity despite never seeing this place before. Or, maybe I had a long time ago.

I stopped in front of the large door. What exactly would be waiting for me in there? Should I even be here right now? Before I could continue to have second thoughts, I heard a voice say "Come in." and the door opened. Well, no turning back now. I entered the house and I looked around in awe. The interior was even more beautiful than the outside. Many artifacts lined the walls.

I approached the staircase and walked upstairs. I walked around until I found two glass doors that were open, revealing a balcony with someone standing on it. They were faced away from me but I could tell they were a woman. She had long, platinum blonde hair that was slightly braided. She wore a loose, long sleeved white gown. She turned around and she was very beautiful. She had white eyes with gold flecks in them. She had a gentle smile and her eyes were warm.

"I've been expecting you, Kirsten." She said. How she knew my name, I didn't know. But it wasn't important. "Who are you? Where is this place?" I asked, stepping forward. The woman had a knowing look in her eyes. "You've been here before a long time ago. But for reasons, this place was stripped from your memory. As for who I am, you will know eventually." She said, looking back into the void. I was confused. I've been to this place before but I haven't been able to remember it? That was certainly strange.

"Kirsten, you need to wake up now. It may not seem like it but you have been in a coma for a while now. So many things have happened while you've been here." The woman said, her expression was grim. I was shocked by the news. I'm in a coma right now?! How did that happen? I don't recall ever receiving a head injury. Oh, God...What have the others been thinking? What has Jake been thinking? I need to wake up right now! But how..?

"How do I wake up?" I asked. "Will yourself to wake up." The woman replied. That answer didn't really help but I'll try. So, I imagined myself shaking off the chains of slumber and awakening. Flames started to swirl around me as I felt myself waking up. The woman gave me a kind smile. "Good luck, Kirsten. And remember, their hope lies within you." She said. The swirling flames around me became of flaming vortex and I shot up rapidly towards the blackness above. A bright white opening appeared in the void and I was flung through it.

I gasped as my eyes opened and I sat up. I had been laid inside a tent. I slowly crawled out of the tent and checked my surroundings. The familiar forest greeted me which told me where I was. I noticed that there were other tents around as well. Where did these come from? As far as I knew, the survivors slept around the campfire. I gasped as I remembered the other survivors. I'm sure they were worried sick about me. I can only imagine how Jake feels right now... Before I could do anything, I heard a gasp from behind me. I turned around and saw Jake standing there, a shocked expression on his face.

"Jake..." I muttered. "Kirsten...You woke up! You actually woke up!" he shouted, running towards me. He picked me up and hugged me tightly, I returned the gesture by hugging back. "I thought you weren't ever gonna wake up, Babygirl..." Jake whispered, shakily. I buried my head into his shoulder. "It's okay, I'm awake now." I whispered. And I didn't plan on going back to sleep for a while. Now, I had to see what all had happened while I was asleep. I could only hope it wasn't anything bad.
