Chapter 2
“Love is like stars, sometimes they fall and sometimes they don’t.”

His breath smelled like whiskey as he pushed me against a wall. Caressing my sides, he planted small kisses down my jaw line then to my collar bone. The music blasted loudly and I was pretty sure the whole neighborhood could hear.
I’m not sure whose house this was or who I was making out with but I knew that it was a public party. Which were the best.
As he carried me onto a table, I wrapped my legs around him making sure Xavier saw me. His green eyes pierced through mine making me feel weak again.
Snap out of it.
He’s a player, from now on I should be one too. Nobody could hurt me this way.
The guy (whose name is Alexander or something) tucked one strand of my hair behind my ear while placing his hands on my cheeks, kissing me even deeper. I purposely let out a loud moan hoping Xavier heard. Looking around I noticed him disappearing upstairs with some blonde in his arms. Damn was it hard to make him jealous.
“Baby what are you looking at?” The guy asked.
I pushed him away and hopped off the table. Ok so Xavier’s been cheating on me with my ex-best friend and a bunch of random girls? What a shithole.
Curiosity and wander flowed through my mind and something told me that I could get some space alone upstairs.
I twisted open the door of some random room upstairs. Thinking it was empty, my back slid down the polished door. Ok so apparently it wasn’t empty.
“Hey!” Xavier shouted not realizing it was me. He shoved the almost topless blonde off his body and sat up, “Look Skylar I could exp-“ He said out of breath.
“I don’t need your damn explanation and lies,” I snapped back with my voice turning squeaky.
Xavier tried stepping towards me leaving the slut covered under the sheets.
“Damn it Sky would you just listen!?” He shouted.
“Look, I’m out of here,” I twisted the door knob and exited.
He followed behind me grabbing my wrist.
“Oh c’mon I had an itch to scratch,”
“For five months with Em? You could’ve just broken up with me,”
“What’s the fun of that?” He smirked and pulled up his baggy jeans. I forgot how skinny he actually was, “ and plus, you could’ve been less blind.”
“Uhm excuse me?”
“You know you’ve got a pretty face and everything but turns out you’re just another stupid teen girl,” he scoffed.
Just then, a door swung open quietly and a guy who looked about my age stepped out. He leaned on the door frame as if he was watching us.
