No! No nononono no! This cannot be happening! Why now?! Does everyone really want me to suffer this bad? The guy I told almost everything to was standing right in front of me. Just great, now everybody in this whole damn building is going to know my life story. Life will never be the same again, it hasn't been for quite a while actually. Literally, we're only inches apart and he's looking like a fricking god with his perfect facial features and fit body.
He was wearing a dark navy blue T- shirt that went tight around his biceps and outlined his chiseled chest. He was also wearing black jeans that were a bit faded around the knees and it hung low beneath his waist. His hair was perfect and stylish like the first time we met each other. I looked up and made eye contact with him. He quirked his eyebrows in a very cute way and tilted his head smiling as if he was trying to read my mind.
Let me die. Please. Right now, right here.
"H-hi," I said. What the hell was I doing? I never stutter. C'mon Sky, get your game together. This was the guy who was going to blurt everything out to the whole school. I can't trust him, but I have to at least pretend to be his friend. Sigh.
"Skylar? I-" Just then, Ms.Fetterman popped up in between us. She was surprisingly actually one of the chillest teachers in the school.
"Skylar dear! Meet Kyle," then she turned towards Kyle, "and Kyle meet Skylar!"
"We alr-" before I finished, she cut in again.
"Someone has already taken care of his brother so you know what to do Ms. White!"
Woah there, Kyle has a brother?
"I-"
" Alright! I have to take care of some paper work so you two out out out!" She said pushing us out the door.
The door shut with a soft thud sound and I stood there looking down at the floor like a fool.
"Listen," I said in a harsher tone than I expected, "Just because we had that talk the other night doesn't mean we're friends,"
Hurt flashed through his eyes and suddenly, I regretted what I had just said.
He nodded his head like he understood, " Ok."
I pursed my lips together then rolled them back out, "We'll then, let's get started. Can I see your schedule?"
"Yea sure," he answered. He fumbled through a stack of paper from his white colored folder and pulled out a light green colored schedule. I took it from him as my hand accidentally brushed against his. Goose bumps ran up my arm sending signals through my body and I immediately pulled my hand back with the schedule in my hand.
He gives me goosebumps.
Shaking off the thought, I scanned my eyes through his schedule.
"You have three classes with me, trigonometry, English and...." Oh gosh no, "P.E...uh and you also have 4th period lunch, which I have," I gave him a bland smile and returned the schedule to him.
"Thanks," he murmured stuffing the piece of paper in his backpack.
I returned with a nod and we started heading towards the hallway. Everyone in the hallways shifted their attention to us. Nearly all of them whipped their heads toward us as we passed by. Some seemed annoyed and frustrated while others were chirping with excitement. I could hear people all around us whispering. Yea he was pretty hot. So I gave all of them a smirk and moved closer to him.
