"What happened you looked lost the whole day" Manik said making Nandini sit on the bed as she had looked lost since she came from hospital
"Nothing much just a bit tensed about a patient" Nandini said shaking her head
"Ah that patient you talked about recently" Manik said Nandini talking about the patient while reading the details about the patient once
"Yes" Nandini said nodding her head
"what about her" Manik said looking at her raising his eyebrows Nandini sighed as she knew she can't hide anymore

"It's just that the patient looked pretty stressed today and I understand after all the chances are very low but it felt like there was some meaning to her words" Nandini said remembering Mrs. Gerorge's words
"what happened?" Manik asked making her look at him
"That patient was going under operation but it wasn't successful completely and now though her life isn't at danger she is going to die soon but since the time she woke up and got to know this she has been calling my name and saying to bring her child which I have to her" Nandini started calmly but as she was remembering her words she got panicky
"Her child?" Manik said as he made Nandini sit on the bed and gave her glass of water to drink so as to calm her and it even worked
"I don't know but I think she is talking about Mayrah" Nandini said looking Manik worriedly
Manik sighed at Nandini and held her hand in his hand and said softly "Nandini I think you are just thinking too much" Nandini looked at him with a look that said 'my institutions are never wrong' "Okay Maybe you are correct but then it's not like you will wake up one day and will know what others think about you are what they said to you had some meaning... And it's not like you didn't try to find Mayrah's family... Maybe because you are guilty of not being capable enough to find her real family" Then Manik murmured to himself after activating his overprotective father mode "Anyways I wanna avoid this topic as much as possible"
"Maybe you are right" Nandini said giving some thought to Manik's words "But I... No I did rather just go with the flow" Nandini said with a faint smile "But you know Manik I just... I-I just don't wanna... *Chocking* Mayrah has become so close to me to us in just such a short period of time that" While Nandini chocked to speak Manik caressed her hand with his thumb so as to assure her and let her speak "I don't wanna let go of her... But I don't wanna also stop her from her going to her real home"
Nandini cuddled Manik as she cried while he said "I know I understand... *Sigh* I feel the same but you know we can't always want things the way we want after all that's life... So let's just go with the flow, okay?" In response Nandini just hummed feeling low
They stayed in the same postion for don't know how long but it was comfortable and reassuring having someone care about stay by your side when you need but their peaceful moment was broken by a phone call "It's a call from hospital" Nandini said moving away from his arms while Manik nodded understanding "Hello this is-..... Yeah I understand.... I will be right as soon as possible" Nandini cut the call looked at Manik while gathering her stuff "It's urgent... Mrs. George's condition is critical"
"Okay I will drop you" Manik said and Nandini nodded on their way Manik asked "But you aren't her doctor so why are you being called"
Nandini answered while looking at her phone seeing the reports "Because the attending doctor isn't very sure about the surgery so I will go to assist him because after all he is the main attending doctor" _______________________
AT HOSPITAL
As soon as Nandini came after changing into her surgery gown and entered the operation theatre the attending doctor explained the situation while Nandini nodded in response as they both co-operated in the situation but because the situation was already worse she couldn't help expect letting her live for a few more days
After Nandini came out of operation theatre and changed removed her operation dress she came and hugged Manik tightly to calm her emotions, after a few minutes passed Nandini whispered near his ear slowly "I am not that weak it's not like I haven't seen or done failed surgeries it's just that this surgery or the patient made me get many things caught in my head so I was scared that I would rather than saving the patient accidently do something to her"
"I understand... But I also know that you won't harm anyone innocent so" Breaking the hug Manik looked at her and kissed her crown "Don't think too much and take unnecessary stress"
"You know what you are right I will just let the things go with flow" Nandini said giving him a toothy smile finally since the day making even Manik smile
"So then let's go home... You will have to come to hospital again tomorrow right so then you have to sleep early" Manik said as Nandini smiled in agreement _____________________
AT HOTEL
As MaNan entered a little girl as fast as and as cute as squirrel came running towards them and hugged or more like grabbed them with her tiny little fingers making them smile but the look on their face made her angry and she said "Mommy Daddy go wilout Mayla (without Mayrah)"
"Aww my princess missed us Daddy is sorry" Manik said as he picked Mayrah in his arms pouting his face and kissing her cheeks making her giggle
"Okay bul Mayla (but Mayrah) want ice-cream" Mayrah raising her hands high in excitement
"Oh so someone wanted icecream so that's why she acted" Nandini said making Mayrah give her a toothy smile making Nandini kiss her cheek "But if we see it Mayrah was left alone so this time I will forgive it"
"Yeahhhh" Mayrah squealed happily "Mayla lub (Mayrah loves) Mommy Daddy" She said as she kissed both their cheeks and then they went to buy ice cream, after having ice cream Mayrah felt sleepy so Nandini made her sleep and went to hotel to lie her on the bed and she also lied beside her Manik smiled seeing his two beautiful princessess with him and he also slept
