"Phew you can do this" Nandini said cheering herself up for the nth time before going inside Mrs. George's room room "Good morning"
"Good morning doctor" Mrs. George said while the nurse all the stuff related to check her health and gave the results to Nandini
"Your condition can be said to be stable for now" Nandini said reading the her recent report
"Doctor I want to tell you something" Mrs. George said after hesitating a lot
"Yes what do you wanna say" Nandini said with a faint smile having a hunch that her institution was correct
"Ah can you come a bit later I want to prepare myself" Mrs. George said while Nandini went out after nodding respecting her choice
Before break time Nandini once again came and looking and her Mrs. George started "I guess you might have also guessed that what I am going to talk about" to which Nandini nodded "So before we start I will just give you a simple introduction of myself I am Jessie George I am currently an orphan *sigh* so here we go"
FLASHBACK
JESSIE GEORGE POV
I am Jessie I currently am in my 30's and also a widow. My life has always been pretty dull the only light in my life is my angel my baby.
I always feel that I have been cursed as at the age of 10 I lost my whole family in a car accident but the most tragic part was that only I survived in the car because of which my relatives used to call be the child that eat her parents and abandoned me and left me in an orphanage but there also because they knew about me and my situation no one used dare to come near me. I got used to it at some point and just wanted to get a turn 18 and get a job as soon as possible
After I turned 18 when I was leaving my house the orphanage no one came to say bye to me it kinda hurt me but what can you say to that person who is living her own life like a dead after her parents death
I always since that incident felt like I should have died instead of them, I just feel so dead inside but still life went on. While my personal life was dull in my school and college life I used to get all A's and with doing part-time jobs and so right after college I got recommendation at a great company with a pretty good position but still even their I didn't used to talk much aside from the topic on work and the other employees also used didn't force me because I was their senior
Life was just going on so until I met him my love of my life Rihnas he was in the same college as me we met again in a class reunion where he made me fall in love with him actually it was always him talking and me listing but he was always their for me soon after we got married and you like those fairytales happily ever after types but I forgot my life isn't happily ever after
One day when me, my angel and my husband were at home together my husband fainted suddenly we took him to the doctor and he said that he had terminal disease which apparently had spread through me after taking all the test of all three of us and it was lucky enough that disease didn't spread to angel through me
We were left in shock and I couldn't help blaming myself, maybe because I blamed myself too much that my husband thought to make it up for me by assuring that everything will be alright and he decided to make us out for a dinner but on our way back our car crashed and he died in that accident trying to save me and angel
I was left nothing but angel and as I didn't wanted something to happen to her like all the things that happen to the people whom I love around me so I decided to leave her or rather entrust her to a safer place

"And through some research and from other doctors I got to know about you and I thought that maybe if I left my angel with you everything will be alright.... And I was right" Mrs. George said looking at Nandini with a faint smile who was holding back her tears "Don't cry that's just how unlucky I was just do me a promise never let angel know about me I am scared that even my shadow would be unlucky for her"

"Mrs. George no Jessie you are not unlucky it's just that those misfortunes came unexpectedly so please don't blame yourself otherwise the people who all loves you will be sad" Nandini said as she held Jessie's hand
"Thank you but it's worthless now and I am glad that I can finally die and now I am in peace" Jessie said with a faint smile slowly moving her hand away as she closed her eyes due to exhaustion
"You can rest for now but our talk hasn't ended yet I will come again tomorrow" Nandini said as she left and as even her working time was over she went out of the hospital
AT HOTEL
As soon as Nandini entered her hotel room without saying anything she hugged Manik while he said "Tired" to which she hummed "Then let's sleep" to which she shook her head "Wanna stay this ways" as an answer she just hummed meekly

They stood in the same position and Nandini after controlling her emotions she looked up Manik playing with his shirt button and said "I was right.... She had a very sad life I wanna help her... But I don't know what to do"
"Then want to tell Mayrah" Manik said as Nandini just played with his button to which he sighed and continued "Mayrah maybe small but it's her right to know about her mother"
"I know and I thought so too but she says she don't wanna meet her and give her bad luck" Nadini said as she again cuddled Manik tightly
"You said she doesn't have a long life *Nandini hummed* you said she had a very hard life *Nandini hummed* then atleast let her die in peace with this in mind that her daughter is in our safe hands and we will never ever do anything to harm her" Manik said to which Nandini nodded
"Yeah you are right I should atleast let her die in peace" Nandini said as she yawned due to all the exhaustion from all activities happened at one single day making her emotions go wild
"Now, now let's sleep the rollercoaster of emotions you have had today is enough now time for some rest" Manik said as he princess carried Nandini and laid her on the bed and he also laid beside her and cuddled her as both soon after fell asleep
