CARRIES P.O.V

Carters pickup wasn't big, it had three seats in the front and of course, the bed. They lost the 'zombies' chasing them, and were climbing into the truck. "Jason get out of the drivers seat." Carter said to Jason as he started to climb in. "Uhhh, how about... No." Jason said with a cocky voice. "Ok fine you drive." Carter said twirling his keys around his finger. Jason went to grab them but Carter held his arm up high. Carter all of a sudden pushed Jason to the ground and jumped into the drivers seat, locking his door. Jason got up and punched the window, but not hard enough to break it. Carter childishly stuck his tongue at him. Derek or Fred or what ever that dudes name is, well he is looking about as pale as milk and is unconscious. We set him in the bed of the truck and i decided to sit back there too. "What if he, um turns into a zombie if im back there with him?" I asked no one in particular. Anna starting speaking when Jason said, "Ill sit with you." He said then smiled. My stomach did a little flip when he smiled at me. "Ok erm.... I have to sit in the middle then?" Anna asked Nick. He shrugged "I mean i wont mind.. Unless you don't want to sit with me..." Nick said taking a sudden interest in his shoes. "Oh no, its not you I'm worried about... It him." She said pointing at Carter who was attempting to get service on his phone.

Everyone climbed into the truck and Carter started off.

Jason's P.O.V

Carrie was quietly looking at the stars with pure interest in her eyes. Her hair was blowing as we drove like it was a movie. She was shivering i realized as i was looking at her. Well she is still in her bikini. I scooted closer to her. "You cold?" I asked her. She looked at me and smiled a little. "Yea sorta.." I wrapped my arms around her and she froze for half a second then snuggled up next to me.

It was maybe 20 mins later when Carter pulled the truck to the side of the road. He got out and came to the side of the truck. "Hey your awake?" He asked me. "Yea, i cant sleep... That 'zombie' is still in my mind." I said back. He nodded. "This is weird I've seen absolutely no one." He looked down the road. I frowned. "Yea that is weird..." Carrie stirred in her sleep and groggily said "Oh my god, SpongeBob!" I looked down at her confused and saw that she was asleep still. Me and Carter started laughing. "That was cr--" Darrel gurgled interrupting Carter. "Darrel?!" Carter said looking down at him. His eyes slowly opened and he let out a half scream half gasp. His eyes were glassy white. He looked at Carter and almost bit his nose off. "SHIT!" Carrie jumped up. I jumped up and grabbed Darrel by the shirt and pushed him out the back of the truck as Carter jumped into the drivers seat and quickly sped off. "What was that all about?" Carrie said after a moment of silence. I looked at her. "Noth--" i stuttered. I slumped down and closed my eyes. "Ugh." I said. I heard her moving over to me. She started playing with my hair. I fell asleep not long after that.
