Ex best friend

Chapter 8- amber's plan.

After waiting 10 minutes I was so glad it was recess, I would now be told what ambers brilliant plan was. As we start heading out the door Amber whispers very softly to me, "watch where Jade goes, don't lose sight of her" she says.
"and watch jades every move". We put our books in our lockers, "ok so the plan?" I remind her,
"Oh right, we just need one more person" she suddenly adds
"What? We can't have anyone else get involved" I start to panic now.

"Relax aria, trust me" she says looking straight Into my eyes, I didn't know what she is planning to do, but I wasn't sure I was ready to be involved in it.

As we walk further down the hall we spot Luke, "there he is" Amber excitedly says, "oh no no no" I quickly gasp.
I had a bad feeling I knew what she had planned, I started freaking out.

"Luke!" Amber says, "hey Amber hey aria" he Replies mostly smiling at me.
"Can you come with me and your girlfriend (aria)" she winks at him, "uh..sure" he breathes a laugh.
We start walking down the hall, my face feels hot. Luke takes hold of my hand, and it instantly makes me feel calmer.
We see the back of jades hair, Amber pulls me and Luke so we are facing, I suddenly know what's going to happen, I start freaking out, in the corner of my eye I see Jade glaring, which kinda makes me feel happy to shove him in her face, even though that kinda sounds mean.

"You may now kiss" Amber jokes,
"Amber what?" I say as if I had no clue what she was talking about.
"Luke, she really loves you, show her the same, with a simple kiss" Amber finishes saying with a kissy face, I start shaking, but try relaxing myself.
Amber stares back at Jade, then whispers only to me, "hurry, this is your only chance" she panics.

I've never been kissed so of course it felt awkward, I just stared into his eyes, suddenly both his hands took hold of mine, "aria, i love you" the words he speaks, fly through my head, he moves his lips closer to mine, after a second I just notice our lips are both touching,
I close my eyes. Feeling his soft gentle lips kiss mine. All sorts of thoughts rush to my head, it feels like I'm dreaming, it was the most perfect first kiss, I didn't imagine it would be so amazing.
Our lips finally unlocked after some time, I felt more confident, I just pulled him into myself and led him into a big hug. Because he was taller then me I felt his chin on top of my head, then he kisses me on he head. But I was so glad it was the quietness part of the hallway, as only Jade and about 2 other girls were hanging around.

"You guys really are such sweethearts" Amber says, she smiles at the both of us, "thanks, Amber, for helping me..with everything"
I smile back.i look over to see Jade still standing there with her eyes all big and her mouth wide open. She then turned at stomped off. "Man, she's pissed" Amber just says before laughing for almost a full minute.

The recess bell started ringing, which I honestly didn't like, I would rather spend a day locked into Luke's warm arms.
"Bye" I say to Luke
"Bye love" he says in a cute voice.
A give him a small peck on the cheek,
It felt weird because 5 minutes ago I could never do that, I guess that's what love does to you.

Me and Amber start walking to class,
"Wasn't my plan perfect" she happily smiles at me, "ok I admit it was brill!, but the kiss part m, not making Jade jealous" I laugh, "what do you mean making Jade jealous? We didn't do that" Amber winks, I just start laughing.

My life had a nice feeling to it, at the start of the year I was the girl known as the loner, loser and the girl with the huge lies, but thanks to Amber I was now living a perfect life with an amazing best friend, a perfect boyfriend and known as one of the popular people in school.

But I had no idea what me and Jade were, enemies, back to ex best friends, or just 2 strangers who pretend they don't know each other.
