My eyes took a glimpse of the clock that hang in the corner of my room, the time reading exactly 10:00 am. I just lay there in amazement as I was thinking about how my life has been changing in only about a few days.
My phone suddenly vibrates, I check it finding a message from Amber.
Great timing I think.
*text message*
"Hey aria, wanna go to the mall today?"
Ambers text reads
"Sure, sounds great"
I text back
"Meet me at the mall at 12:15 near the water fountain" Amber replies in text.
"Great, see you then"
I turn off my phone and decide to have a shower.
After a very short shower I pick out my outfit for the day which being is, leggings, a grey t-shirt and dark grey hoodie. I then slide on my favourite white sandals with heals. I don't usually wear makeup so I decide to skip it.
I hop in my moms car as she offered to drive me to the mall. I check the time in the car and read that it's 12:00 am exactly.
In less then 6 minutes I hop out of my moms car and make my way to the water fountain inside if the mall. I suddenly find myself standing by the fountain looking out for Amber.
I'm so shocked as I look and see jade in the mall metres away from me. How could I forget, me and jade 'when we were friends' used to come to the mall every Sunday together, has she always been coming here? Even after we became exbestfriends?
As I get lost in my thoughts I don't even notice Amber beside me. "Should we go?" Amber aka worriedly, as she hints about jade being inside the mall with us. "Nah, just pretend she isn't here" I suggest.
"So I was thinking, we should so do makeovers today, at my house?" She asks, "yeah, I'm sure that will be fine I smile."so where should we start?" I giggle joyfully "shoes!" Amber says in a high pitched girly voice.
Trying on shoes had to be one of my favourite things, I tried on almost every shade of high heals I could find. But ended up buying a black pair of heals and a white pair of wedges. While Amber bought a black pair of boots and a white pair of high heals."we should get pedicures and manicures!" I say this time, attempting to say in a high pitched girly tone. "Now your thinking" Amber brightly says as we both burst out laughing.
Picking out the nail colours were the hardest, but when You have a friend who's great with style it can be easy. "Hmm.. I'm thinking like a aqua blue for your fingernails and for you toe nails" Amber suggests, "wow you really are good with choices" I laugh. "What colour for me?" Amber asks me. "I would go with.. A hot pink for you" I say. "Perfect!" She replies back to me.
The results after both our manicures and pedicures were amaze, they really suited us. "Wanna get something to eat, before we shop till we drop" I giggle "yas, sounds good to me" Amber says. "I'm just gonna get some sushi"
Amber says, as she stares down at the sushi flavours, "ill just great a small salad" I say, hearing my tummy rumble.
Minutes after eating our meals its back to shopping. We began at a small but cute shop which is filled wit tons of amazing and pretty clothes. I try on a black mini skirt with s white long sleeved lace top. "You have to buy both of those" Amber suggests, "how much?" She asks "$30 dollars for both" I respond. Amber tried on a black off the shoulder top with white shorts. "That looks stunning" I smile. "Thanks" she says as she walks like a model.
About 50 shops later, well possibly more, we had our arms full of bags, "don't worry my moms coming to pick us up" Amber says out of breathe.
As we get to the I spot jade still hanging around the same spot, but I actually felt bad for her, she looked as though she had been crying. In my mind I made a choice that might change everything.
"Follow me" I told Amber, I started walking towards jade, my heart rate grew faster, I stopped when I got up to jade, I took a breathe and spoke from my heart. "Uh...jade...are.you.umm.ok?" I must of sounded like an idiot but oh well. Jade turns to face me looking surprised then ever. "I'm not doing to well" she says as she stares down at the ground. "Anything we can help with?" Amber asks. "Nah it's fine" jade replies. "If you ever need to talk to someone we are here for you" I finally say as me and Amber start walking away. I suddenly hear a voice calling my name, turning to see jade. "Aria, thanks for offering, it really does mean a lot" she does a weird half smile and looks away. We're jade and I starting from the beginning again?.
Amber's mom arrived in a big silver car.
As I got inside the silver vehicle I saw a blonde, youngish adult, which by the look of her I guessed to be ambers mom. "Hi, you must be aria" he last spoke friendly. "Yes, I am" I smiled.
Her house wasn't too far from mine, I wondered what it would look like.
We finally arrived indent of. Two story house, by the looks of it, it was stunning. But was better was inside, it was so clean and had lots of big areas. Her room was upstairs as like mine was. Her room was pretty big, it was perfect though, she had a massive TV, giant desk with a computer and a big king sized bed. We spent hours giving each other a makeover, we did each other's eyebrows, face cleanses, makeup and styled each other's hair.
But I admit these makeovers were such a big difference, to be honest I looked a lot better, especially with makeup. "My moms here" I said sadly as I didn't want to leave. "Aw, see us tomorrow" Amber smiled, for the first time we hugged like we had been friends since forever.
Later that night I kept thinking about jade, did thus mean maybe jade and i were back to being friends? Why did good things keep coming?
