I wrote this while I had Who Knew by Pink on repeat so...

Axarhs scanned the new world from under her hood, "are you sure this is it?" She asked.

"Yea, I know he's here somewhere." Axel responded.

Demyx rolled his eyes, "you mean you had a feeling and hurried here. Man, this world is weird. What's the name of this place?"

"Hollow Bastion; and my feelings are never wrong. Look at all the Heartless!" Axel pointed to the Great Maw. "With this many hanging around, Sora and the others will be here any minute. Xemnas will probably show up too."

"What?!" Axarhs started to open a portal, Demyx grabbed her wrist.

"I'm pretty sure he knows you've been hanging out with Axel. If keeping you away from him was a top priority, you'd be locked away right now." He laughed.

"I don't care about him; it's Saix I'm worried about."

"Why? You think he's goanna show up?" Axel raised an eyebrow.

"You know Saix follows Xemnas around like a lost puppy. I'm his top priority...experiment? Whatever, all I know is that if he sees me here, god knows what he'll do to us." All three shuddered at the thought.

Demyx crossed his arms and frowned, "so are we just going to stand here and wait for him to show up?"

"If you don't like it, than go into town and look for him. Or you can see what kinds of Heartless are roaming around."

Something stirred in the pit of Axarhs' stomach, "I'm going with you!" She shouted and latched onto Demyx's arm.

"What? Why?" He pulled away.

"Because I..." she swallowed the knot forming in her throat, "I have a bad feeling."

"That's all?" He pulled her into a hug and rested his chin on her head. "Have a little faith in me, alright? I can handle anything these wimpy Heartless throw at me." He pulled away and lifted her chin so eye contact was unavoidable, "everything's going to be fine. I promise I'll come back to you." He leaned in and kissed her forehead. "See ya soon!" He waved and vanished.

Axarhs turned toward Axel, "think he'll be ok?"

He shrugged, "he can handle himself...sort of." He mumbled.

Whoa, I didn't expect to run into them this fast, Demyx thought as he stepped out of the darkness. "Hey, you guys are looking lively." He said with a smile, not quite sure how to handle this.

"Didn't we catch you messing around in the Underworld? There was someone else with you too! Wasn't there?" Sora asked.

Alright, doing good so far, all I have to do is...tell him about Axel? Man, I didn't think this through!

"How'd a wimp like you get into Organization XIII? I bet you can't even fight!"

Ok, straight to the insults, this isn't good. "You shouldn't judge anyone by appearance." That was stupid. I should've just gone back to Axel and Axarhs, but no I just had to open my big mouth and say something back! All three drew their weapons; Demyx turned around and pinched the bridge of his nose, "I should've stayed with the others."

"Remember, the Organization's made up of Nobodies."

"Right-no hearts."

Demyx tuned into the conversation and turned back around, "oh, we do too have hearts, don't be mad."

The shortest and most annoying of the three pointed at him, "You can't trick us!"

Looks like I can't talk my way out of this fight, "silence, traitor!" Demyx said and pointed at Sora-not exactly sure why he decided to bring up Roxas. "I didn't want to do this-" he summoned his Sitar, waves of water surrounded him, "but it looks like I have no choice. Dance water dance!"

Crap. Looks like my water clones aren't going to work against them. He hated to admit it, but Sora was killing him. Literally. He was attacking with his Sitar and creating massive waves, but it still wasn't enough to faze him. One final hit to his side and Demyx knew he'd lost. "No way!" He shouted while his body broke apart. I'm sorry, Axarhs. I couldn't keep my promise.

Axarhs felt a twinge of pain in her chest that quickly escalated; her heart felt like it was being squeezed and twisted. She fell to her knees and gripped her chest.

"Axarhs!" Axel rushed to her side, "hey, are you alright?!"

She didn't hear him-couldn't hear him. Every moment she'd shared with Demyx was flashing in front of her-being pulled away. Every smile, every laugh, every hug, every forehead kiss, every stupid conversation and every time they'd went swimming in Atlantica. All of it was being pulled out of her. A lone tear rolled down her cheek.

"Axarhs answer me! What's wrong?!"

She reached up and clutched her necklace, "Demyx," she whispered.

"What?" Axel looked down at his necklace, "oh!...Oh man..." The baby blue that represented Demyx had disappeared. It was just bright red and white mixing together.

"You idiot! How could you do this?!" Axarhs screamed. "You never listen to me! I knew something bad would happen if you left! You were supposed to come back to me..." Axarhs calmly stood up, dusted herself off and removed her hood.

"Are you crazy?! You're not supposed to take your hood off!" Axel shouted.

"I know he did this-Sora and his stupid friends took Demyx away." There was venom in her voice. "My face is going to be the last thing they see!" She lunged forward, "I'll kill them!"

Axel wrapped his arms around her waist and jerked her back, "calm down! There's nothing you can do!"

Axarhs thrashed around in his crushing grip, "they took him away! They took him away! They took away my best friend!"

"I know you cared about him, but you need to calm down. There's nothing you can do!"

Her body went limp, "I know that. It hurts so much; knowing I'll never see him or talk to him again."

Axel loosened his grip; Axarhs fell back down to her knees and stayed that way until she heard footsteps coming toward them. Three people-it's them. She thought.

She forced herself to stand; Axel grabbed her wrist, "stay here." He ordered. Axarhs stood in the shadows while Axel explained how the Organization was using him. She wanted to be angry-wanted to cry, but couldn't. She felt numb.

"Axel!" Saix frowned at the redhead who disappeared; leaving Axarhs. "You!" He grabbed the front of Axarhs's coat, opened a portal and threw her inside.

Unfazed by what Saix had done, Axarhs flew through the portal, stumbling backwards into a small white room. She slammed into the wall and slid down onto the floor like a rag doll. The door she'd fallen through closed and locked.

She didn't move-didn't do anything until the door unlocked and two people entered.

"You stupid brat!" Saix jerked her to her feet and pinned her against the wall. "You're nothing but a nuisance!" He glanced at Xemnas, "why don't we dispose of her already?"

"I need her for a little longer, just keep her locked in here."

Saix gave her an evil grin that was met with empty eyes, "don't even think about escaping. You can't use portals in this room and it locks from the outside. You're stuck in here until we decide on how to get rid of you." Saix dropped her and left, Xemnas right behind him.
