Keep in mid people that I've only played Kingdom Hearts I and II so anything from the other games won't be in here! Anyway, picture on the side is Sarah. Hope you enjoy!

Once a year, for one week, it snowed in Twilight Town-where, as the name implies, the sun is stuck in a never ending sunset. The citizens never questioned why this happened. They’d accepted it as one of the many quirks of Twilight Town-just like this one week of snow.
Children were let out of school for the week to enjoy the annual occurrence. Most kids spent the days throwing snowballs or playing tag on Market Street and the Sandlot, but Hayner, Pence, Olette and Sarah did what they normally do-sit in The Usual Spot and talk.
“What do you wanna do today?” Pence asked while drawing pictures in the snow. Olette and Sarah shrugged-they were the quietest out of their little group. Sarah had her loud moments, but mostly stuck by Olette. These were her only friends and she didn’t want to do anything to make them mad.
She’d tried to make other friends, but they always ignored or bullied her. One of the kids went as far as to yell that nobody would want to be friends with a girl whose dad hated her. At home, Sarah’s mom would complain about how other adults looked down on her because the father of her child left. She barely remembered anything about him, but that didn’t bother her. What did bother her were the dirty looks and whispers among what she called the Stepford Wives. She could handle it-could handle anything, as long as Sarah was happy.
“Let’s go to the Sandlot and throw snowballs at Seifer and his friends!” Hayner’s seven year old voice was less than intimidating and made Olette giggle.
“What do you have against him anyway?” Sarah wondered.
“I don’t like Seifer either, he’s mean and always wants to fight. Let’s go to Market Street.” Olette squeaked.
“I have an idea!” All eyes turned to Pence who had a huge grin on his face. “You know the old mansion past the woods? Well, I heard that there’s hidden treasure inside. We can go get it and show everyone how brave we are!”
“That place is haunted and I don’t want to be eaten by a ghost!” Olette stomped her foot.
“Ghosts can eat you?” Sarah asked, but was drowned out by Hayner.
“No, I wanna fight Seifer-I’ll show him I’m the best!”
“No, ghosts don’t eat people,” Pence said. “Hayner, even Seifer is scared of the mansion. If you really wanna show him that you’re better, than let’s go get the treasure and say that you weren’t scared.”
Hayner’s eyes lit up, “we’re going to the mansion!” He grabbed Olette and Sarah’s hands and started running toward the woods, Pence right behind them.
--
The four kids stood in front of the massive gate guarding the mansion. “We can’t get inside,” Sarah stated-hoping Hayner and Pence would forget about getting the treasure and head back.“We can squeeze through the bars,” Pence pointed out. Hayner and Pence went first-Olette and Sarah hesitated before following them inside. After a lot of effort, the boys finally got the massive doors open- the hinges creaked, the sound echoing through the entire mansion.
Sarah looked around the foyer. A large table that was broken, staircases on either side of her and two doors-the one on the left was open, the one on the right was bordered up.
“This place is huge!” Olette exclaimed. “How are we supposed to find the treasure?” Sarah wondered why she wasn’t as scared anymore.
“Let’s look down here first, then we’ll go upstairs,” Pence said while looking for any obvious places someone would hide treasure.
Hayner pointed toward the large glass window facing the back part of the mansion-their only source of light, “do you think it’s buried out there?”
Olette took a few steps forward, “maybe, but it will be really hard to dig up with all the snow. Let’s check the rooms first.”
Sarah shivered and motioned toward the open door on her left, “let’s check that room.”
Hayner rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, “who would hide treasure in a room and leave the door open? I bet it’s in that room-the one with all the boards and bags of stuff in front of it. C’mon Pence, help me move this!” Both boys raced to the door and started pulling away the debris.
Sarah turned toward Olette, “aren’t you scared?”
“Yea, but you have to admit finding the treasure would be pretty cool.”
“Hurry! We almost have this last board off!” Hayner and Pence shouted excitedly.
Olette grabbed Sarah’s hand and joined the other two. Something’s wrong with this place, Sarah thought. A threatening feeling had almost overcome her the second she saw the mansion-the feeling had grown stronger when they came inside and now it was about to make her sick. Sarah knew there was something behind that door, but it wasn’t treasure-it was evil and it wanted out.
“We got it!” Pence shouted as he threw the last board onto the floor. Hayner threw the door open before Sarah had the chance to warn him.
The room was dark-unnaturally dark. Everyone just stood and stared into the uncomfortable darkness.
“Mister Ghost? Are you in there?” Pence’s voice wavered. An ominous wind answered him-emanating from somewhere inside the room.
“Did you feel that?” Olette whispered to no one in particular. All anyone could do was nod. Suddenly, black fog started pouring out of the room and two large glowing circles appeared in the center. It took a moment for them to realize that the glowing circles were eyes.
Olette screamed and ran for the front door, Hayner, Pence and Sarah were right behind her. “Hurry up!” She shouted as she squeezed through the bars and bolted into the woods.“Hayner, Pence, help me!” Sarah had fallen in the snow and twisted her ankle. “Please!” She screamed, but they were gone. She forced herself up, trying to ignore the horrible pain. She ran, but something caught her and wrapped itself around her legs.
She looked down and saw threads of darkness around her, “no, no, no!” The threads tightened and pulled her to the ground, “let me go!” She searched for anything hidden beneath the snow that she could use to pull herself away from whatever was holding her here. There was nothing. She screamed as she was jerked back into the mansion-both doors slamming shut behind her.
