It was the next day and Hawkins yet again had another party. There had been a text sent out to the entire school with a 'after halloween' party. It was a school day but Melanie decided to go anyway, why not?
Melanie just woke up. Some pros of being a vampire was being able to get drunk with a hangover. Only issue was she had no idea what happend last night and how she got home. A knock was heard at her door. She turned and yelled, "Come in!"
The door opened revealing Max with a grin on her face. Melanie looked at her in confusion. "What's wrong with you?"
"Oh. Nothing, just the usual.." Max said with a smile on her face.
Melanie rolled her eyes, "Come on. Spit it out, Max."
"Do you remember anything of last night?"
"Nope."
"Oh that's great."
"Why?"
"You would've been embarrassed."
Melanie turned with wide eyes, "No please, no what did I do?"
"Steve brought u home and you told him that u are a vampire. And i'm not kidding, he believed it."
Melanie her eyes went even wider, "I did what?!"
"He also admitted that he likes you."
Melanie turned around, blushing as she laughed thinking Max was joking but also hoping she wasn't. "No he didn't."
"Yes he did."
"Did he really?"
Max nodded and saw her sister trying to contain her excitement. Her sister started yelling and jumping up and down the bed.
"Oh my god! I need to fix my hair and makeup, I can't confront him looking like a witch!!"
"God. What is it with you and boys?"
"Shut up!" Max rolled her eyes and left her sister with her excitement. "Women." Max mumbled under her breath.
