*Sasha pov*

I woke up and immediately left the house driving back to my house was a mission trying to find the right roads.

When I finally reached home my mum and dad rushed to me to make sure I was ok while asking me a million questions.

"are you alright"My father began as my mother searched me

"where have you been"She asked grabbing me tightly by the arms

"did you get the job done"My father asked while mother let go of me

"Yes and i'm fine I almost got caught so I laid low in a motel"I said explaining myself

"How did you almost get caught"My father asked and upset expression on his face

"I was about to walk out when some random grabbed me and started talking to me I managed to get away"I said lying cause I could not tell them what really happened

"We'll all that matters is that your ok"My mother said giving me a look up and down

"yes i'm fine"I said as my father left the conversation and my grandmother Lora walked over to us

"your just in time for the annual ball"My grandmother said to which my mums face dropped but mine let up

I was always told about our traditions such as the ball among other things but I never thought i'd be able to experience it.

"wait what I get to go"I said pure excitement plastered all over my face

"do you really want to"My mother asked me shock in her voice

"Yes I want go"I said back to her and she stood shocked

"ok well we can go dress shopping and stuff I guess"My mother said as me and my grandmother have her a big smile

"Yay your gonna love it although your mother never did much"She said glaring at mother

"I'm so excited I didn't think i'd be able to experience the mafia life"I said with a small frown to which my grandmother and mother reflected

"well now you do come on what's your favourite colour"My grandmother said snapping me out of my sad childhood trance

"Ummm red or gold or black"I said listing colours I like

"hhmmm just like your mother gold, red or black"My grandmother said to which my mum smiled at me that made me giggle

I like it when people say i'm just like my mother cause that's who I aspire to be, Aurora Blake the most deadly and fierce gorgeous mafia leader there ever was, she who defeated both Russian and Mexicans while also forming an alliance with the Italians.

She is forever remembered through out mafia history even grandmother said when people thought she was dead they still praised her it's what kept the Italian and Americans in power.

Although my grandparents on both sides never liked the enemies to lovers bit.

Me, mum and grandmother went dress shopping for about three hours today I was exhausted and my feet hurt so bad.

I didn't really like the dresses grandmother made me try on I did like some of mums but grandmother didn't.

We agreed that when I was to get a dress we all must like it and grandmother was sorting people to come do my hair and makeup.

Although I said it wasn't necessary cause mum told me how she used to do her own but grandmother insisted because it was my very first ball and she wanted the experience to be everything I imagined it to be.
