Wally's Wonderland

Chapter 7

Chris walks towards the park. He stops and stares at the gate. Ben, Maria, Sophie, Jake, and Nelson are at his side.

"Alright guys. We're here. Let's do this." Chris tells the group.

"I'm still not so sure about this Chris." Sophie complains. "Why can't we just accept that Liv's dead by now?"

Chris scowls at her, annoyed from her bitching.

"C'mon Sophie don't be an ass, we're saving Liv whether you like it or not."

"Alright fine, let's get this over with." Sophie groans.

"How do we even get in? This whole place is locked up real tight." Ben points to the lock and chain on the gate.

Chris thinks, then looks up the walls. He gets an idea, and says:

"We'll climb up the wall."

"Oh yeah, how obvious wasn't it." Jake blurts out.

"But wait how can we even do that? The wall's too high." Ben says.

"We can give each other a boost." Chris suggests.

"Oh, right." Ben says.

The group walk to the right wall. They lift each other up and fall into the interior of Wally's Wonderland. Once inside, they walk about, stopping in front of the Circus Show.

"What's the plan now Chris?" Maria asks.

"Well, isn't it obvious? We look around the entire park, make sure we don't get caught by any of these machines, and as soon as we find Liv, we get the hell out of here. Got it?"

"C'mon man we gotta do more than that." Nelson says, hungry for action. "Like if I run into one of those ass-holes, I'm gonna bash the hell out of it 'till it ain't nothin' but a bunch-a wires and shit. Anybody with me?"

"Nelson, I'm serious." Chris tells him. "You'll only be making the situation a lot worse for us. If you get yourself in danger, that's gonna put us all in deep shit."

"You mean like what Liv did?" Sophie asks.

Chris stiffens, stares at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Excuse me?"

"What you just said there is what Liv must've done." She tells him with an almost angry tone. "She went in on her own, got herself into trouble, probably killed, and now we're all putting ourselves in deep shit to go save her."

"Liv is our friend Sophie! And she could still be alive here. As freaky and demented those animatronics are, I hear they're slow as ass when stalking down their prey."

"Bull-shit! Some are freakily fast. Hardly anyone escapes them. And I bet ya right here right now that Liv's already dead."

"There's still a possibility she's still alive."

"Oh for the love of god Chris, Don't you get it? Liv is pretty much fucked in here, and saving her ass is just gonna get us all killed. So y'know what? I'm out."

Sophie is about to leave, but Chris, no longer controlling himself, quickly tackles her and they crash through the door into the circus tent.

The two fumble around on the ground when Chris stops from hearing Liv calling out his name. He looks up, seeing her staring them down, confused. He immediately gets up while the other teens walk inside.

"Liv! Thank God." He exclaims, relieved. "See guys I told you she was still alive."

"What are you all doing here?" Liv asks.

"We're trying to get you out of here, that's what we're doing here!" Chris tells her.

"I'm not leaving 'till I burn this place down and get this guy to understand we're in serious danger here!" Liv points at the janitor, who has been alerted by the crash Chris and Sophie made.
