Love makes me what?

I stared at them, smiling as I sat on the stairs playing the strings on my Martin to RollerCoaster. That song always made me realize that if you find the one, don't let them go or you'll never find them again. I never really noticed that till I listened to that song and thought about it thoroughly. Drink a beer always reminded me of my dad, I always thought of him when that song came on and I'd always want to go see him and sing to him. I knew that if I did do that I'd cry and never get on with my life, he'd never want me to do that. He'd always tell me to do what I do best which was play guitar and sing, he was my fire and he was finally put out and now he's up there safely watching over me. Making sure I make the right choices and keep my dreams going, never stop for anything unless you're sure it's what you want and what you're meant to do in life. He always kept me away from those assholes when I was in high school, I always got hurt when I saw someone I liked walking around with another girl. He'd always ask what's wrong and listen to me when I needed someone most, because I know my mother wouldn't nor would my sister and my brothers were too busy for me. He was my strength and fire and I miss him so much right now. I started to tear up as I was singing drink a beer on the stairs. No one noticed because everyone was busy practicing for tonight's concert, and I was too quiet for anyone to hear anyways. I silently grabbed my things and headed back up to my room to clean up my face and get back downstairs to continue practice for tonight. As I cleaned up my face wiping the tears away and fixing my hair again, I heard a knock on the door it was pretty loud.

"Hello?" I asked as I walked up to door

"Kalista, you okay?" A familiar voice asked

"Um..yeah I'll be down in a second just redoing my hair and stuff" I responded unchaining my door and opening it slowly to a Mr. Hayes looking breathlessly handsome as usual. His eyes looked worried and scared, they became a deep blue looking like a deep ocean blue. I wanted to just hug him and tell him everything is okay but it's really not.

"Okay, I hope you know you can talk to me if something is wrong." He said as he looked at his feet, I feel safe when I know he's here to help me.

"Thank you Hunter I really appreciate that" I said as I looked at him with tears forming in my eyes. He looked up at me looking upset and scared as if he did something wrong. He wrapped his arms around me holding me close as I sobbed into his shoulder, I didn't want to ruin his shirt so I grabbed him one of my flannel to cover up the stain of my tears.

"I'm here if you need a shoulder to cry on" he said as he pulled on the flannel damn he looks good in my shirt I giggled and kissed his cheek. I blushed and twiddled my thumbs, he kissed my cheek back and he blushed. I wiped the tears from my face and blew the snot from my nose, heading down to the ballroom with my guitar I sang quietly the lyrics to Talladega. I smiled as I listened to Hunter sing Love makes me

"I tear the shrink wrap off and put the needle down, fill my bedroom up with the cash up and crank it up loud because it makes me feel good" he sings looking at me as I sit in the ballroom chairs playing the strings for Roller Coaster. The next song he decided to sing was cry with you and it made me happy

"When you try not to look at me, scared that I'll see you hurting, well you're not hiding anything and frankly it's got me worried.." he sang looking at me winking at me. I blushed and continued playing the strings, he continued practicing the songs for tonight and I continued giggling and being dumb as a girl that has feelings should.

He held out his hand as Sam started playin the chords for What you gonna do, I reached and grabbed his hand as he pulled me up on the stage handing me a Mic and singing his part, I breathed and began

"Who cries, knowing you don't care. Who worries what the future holds, who fears the road ahead and whose heart is turning into stone" I sang looking into his eyes, seeing a loving blue tone in his eyes, I knew I was meant to do this and you know what I did?

Hehe cliff hangers are fun. Sorry guys but I like making suspense so you'll know when I post the next part which will be in the next couple days or weeks depending on how I'm doing
