With Me? \\ Tsukasa Tenma x FEM!Reader

𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟯

Knock knock knock.

I stuff my earphones in my ears, listening to my favourite songs. I collapsed onto my bed, my eyes closing as I take a deep breath.

Knock knock knock.

"Y/N! Your friends are here!" my mom shouts down to me. Oh yeah, I forgot about the show!

"Tell them I'll be 5 minutes!" I shout back, finding some clothes to wear.

I rummaged through my drawers, trying to a suitable outfit. What will the event be like? I quickly bounce back to look for the ticket.

Eh, it doesn't matter right? I just picked whatever outfit looked cutest - (outfit of choice + boots).

I dashed down the stairs, picking up a handbag on the coat hanger and slipping my phone, some money, and my ticket into it. I open the door, and I'm greeted by four people - Toya, An, Kohane, and Mizuki.

"Sorry to keep you all waiting," I apologise. "It's okay, we should get going. It's 4:50 now," An pointed down the road.

"It's cool how you are all coming! This is gonna be so much fun!" Mizuki beams at our group. They were dressed in a blue-grey pleated skirt with two frills on each side, two straps that have similar frills, and a white shirt with baggy sleeves and an old-fashioned button down design in the middle.

"Y/N, how come you didn't know who the Wonderland x Showtime cast were until recently?" I shrugged my shoulders at An.

"You atleast know Emu, right?" An asked. I quickly met her gaze. "Emu's in it too?" I look at her as if I spat out a drink. I mean, I knew she was apart of Pheonix Wonderland, but this thing I've never heard of?

"Uh huh- did she never tell you?" An backs a way a little. "I mean, now that I think about it.." my voice fades off.

"Tsukasa as the 'star' makes me laugh a little too.." I mumble. Maybe that was too mean.

"Tsukasa's a cool guy, Y/N! People are too hard on him but he works hard and he's got a big heart," Mizuki stretches their arms as they walk.

"Yeah, Tsukasa is really a good person," Toya joins in on complimenting Tsukasa.

"He's surely creative and hardworking," An agrees with the others. Maybe I was too harsh on him.

"Do you all want to drop by this cute shop that opened today? It's just down the mall!" Mizuki points down in the opposite direction of where we're going.

"It's 5:40, I think we should keep going. Maybe on the way back?" Toya replies.

"Oh, Y/N! Tsukasa's little sister, Saki, moved to our school today! You missed outt!" Kohane announced, meeting my eyes with hers.

"Really? What is with this Tsukasa guy..?" I uttered, looking down at my bag.

"I mean, she just got discharged from hospital, we're all happy for her!" Kohane smiles at me.

We finally reached Pheonix Wonderland, 6pm.

"Y/n! The performance is starting soon, come over here!" Tsukasa grabbed my hand and ran to the audience. He huffily jumped up to the backstage whilst the curtains in the middle parted.

Outside the stage, we're welcomed by many food and merch stands. Nostalgia fills inside me as I remember the good times I spent here when I went on holiday.

On the stage stood Tsukasa at the far left, that girl from earlier to his right, Emu next to her and the boy with purple hair to the right.

There wasn't a massive crowd, but there was a decent amount of people, cheering for everyone on stage.

Emu stomps on the floor with her right foot, then proceeding to twist her head to the right.

"Niccori Survey Time!" she happily shouts, a smile forming on everyone's face.

"Good morn-eve-day," the girl next to her gestures a "how are you" pose.

Tsukasa coughs before saying the line "how are you", and then walks back a bit out of line to stop his dance, coughing quite violently.

The show pauses and Emu asks if he is okay, worry and concern written all over her. Everyone stops and turns to look at Tsukasa.

He quickly shares a somewhat embarrassed glimpse with me, and then returns to his friends.

"I'm fine," he coughs as a pause. "You didn't have to stop for me," he hides his face in his elbow.

"Rui- stop the show!" the girl with green-grey hair nudges to the purple haired boy who's called Rui. He nods back at her.

Rui looks at the crowd seriously. "I'm sorry but the show can't be done today. Tsukasa is not well."

The audience both has a mix of annoyed or sympathy. Groans from a few people are let out, whilst others nod and walk away.

"Oh noo! Tsukasa are you okay?" Mizuki approaches the stage. Toya looks at him with a distressed look, searching in his bag.

"I've got cough sweets if you need any," Toya pulls out a full packet of cough sweets, offering them to Tsukasa as he feebly shakes his arms.

I follow them too to be sociable, and then hear Tsukasa letting out what sounds like the most painful coughs ever.

A girl with similar hair to him sprints over onto the venue, her expression being the definition of concern. "Tsukasa, what happened?" she pants, patting his back as he coughs more.

"Saki.. I'm fine.." he sounds exhausted and out of breath. "Just a cold, haha.." he continues, covering his chest.

"A cold? It's the middle of summer, Tsukasa! What happened? Should we go home?" she grabs his arms, and then I notice a red liquid on the floor. The green-grey haired girl looks at it too and steps back, her face expressing worry for Tsukasa.

He's been coughing blood? I gasp at the sight of it, covering my mouth and then making eye contact with Tsukasa.

Rui signals for the audience to leave, but me and Mizuki stay. I was pretty worried for Tsukasa even though I hadn't known him for long. I think I judged him too harshly and honestly, I feel so guilty for it.

"That's absolutely not a cold! Come on Tsukasa, you need to see a doctor!" I point at the blood, speaking up out of fear and worry.

"Y/n.. I'm fine." he wipes his mouth. The girl notices the puddle too and gasps. "Big brother, we need to go tell mom and dad! Come on!" she grabs his hand, leading him off the stage.

The whole WxS group follows after, asking questions out of pure fear and worry.

"You all.. don't need to come, I'm fine," he weakly smiles to the Wonderland x Showtime cast behind him.
Rui narrows his eyebrows at him, placing his hand on Tsukasa's shoulder. He opens his mouth to speak, but doesn't say anything.

"Tsukasaaaaa! Don't push yourself any more! Take some time off and rest! Promise us?" Emu leans forward to him, placing her arms behind her back. Her usual happy face turned into one that looked like she was about to cry.
