I am really enjoying writing this book and its so lovely to have such nice comments so thankyou so much 😊. I thought i'd update today rather than tomorrow because I have a college interview tomorrow and I am so nervous 😥. I will also update Saturday if I can. Enjoy the next part 😊.

Nathan's Pov:

I know exactly where Max is, my boss has taken him but I cant just barge in there no that's what they want, I need to stop this p**** its just getting too far. I sat in the hospital room with Sydney fast asleep, I keep getting evil stares from her brother, what is his problem ?.

"Are you not going to go help the others find your friend?" He spat at me

"They have it covered, I am staying here for Sydney" I say squeezing Sydney's hand, now that I have her there is no way I can let anything happen to her, I love her wait what am I saying were not even together what is this girl doing to me.

Sydney slowly stirred from her sleep to look and give me a weak smile.

"Any sign of Max yet?" She asks looking over to her brother

"No I'm sorry" I hear her sigh at my answer.

Out of no where her brother stands up and walks over to take her hand

"I have been offered a once in a lifetime job in Australia and Sydney I want you to come where I can watch you" he says giving me an evil glare.

"NO" I shout

"Luke I am nineteen years old I am more than capable of looking after myself" she says

"You aren't safe here, you know dads on the lose and this good for nothing keeps putting you in danger please" he begs, for once I do feel for him I can see the hurt and concern in his eyes, but he cant just take her away from me its only been two and a half months but she means the world too me.

"Please don't leave me" I whisper so quietly I'm surprised she heard.

"I am not going anywhere Nathan I promise" She whispers back, I kiss her hand lightly and walk out the room to let her have some time with her brother.

I text Tom

To Tom:

Hey mate, any sign of Max yet ?

I already knew the answer.

From Jay:

I know you know where Max is, stop saving your own back Nathan it's not fair everyone is worried sick about Max

To Jay:

I'm not saving my own back, if I was to barge in there and help Max and they will not think twice about taking Sydney. Do you want that Jay ? Because pretend as much as you like you only like her as a sister because we all know different. Now back off.

I hated arguing with Jay he was once my best friend but his turned into a bit off an ass lately and although his dating Lola, he admitted the other night whilst pissed that he was in love with Sydney.

From Jay:

Just sort it out. I DID like Sydney but I have Lola now so you back off. And we all know you are no where good enough for Sydney and when she finds out you are part of the people trying to kill her she will realise that too.

I kick the wall in frustration. As Luke walks out the room giving me an evil glare and sighs. I walk back into the room. Her face was covered in tears.
