Chapter 9 - I like you...

Finally Jonathon got to sleep without waking up screaming, Evan must have chased all the nightmares away well either that or he at least took his mind off those terrible thoughts he had whenever he was alone. Delirious felt the warmth of the sunrise through the window; he fluttered his eyes open and yawned. He smiled as he felt Evan's arms still wrapped around his waist; turning to look at the other Vanoss was still fast asleep. Jonathon turned back snuffling around slightly, he pushed his back up against Evan sighing.  He could get used to this, waking up next to a drop-dead gorgeous man every day. Shaking his head to get rid of that thought he laughed to himself feeling stupid, the only reason why Vanoss pulled him into his bed was because he kept waking him up and he had enough. Jonathon frowned wiping the forming tears in his eyes, he never was this sensitive to things. Whenever he played games with his friends he always laughed the negative comments off, it was just easier for him to continue instead of taking the things they said to heart.

 While Delirious was off in thought once again, Evan groaned out as he rubbed his eyes with his one free hand. Jonathon stayed dead still, it would be pretty awkward if Evan woke up and he was already awake seeing he hadn't moved from the embrace. Evan yawned and he lean up looking to see weather Delirious was a wake yet "...you awake Jonathon?" he asked in his husky 'I just woke up' voice. Jonathon's heart started beating fast, he groaned softly and he nodded pretending he was waking up. "Mmh...yeah", Just after he replied to Evan he moved his arms from his waist and starched out. "You sleep okay?" Vanoss asked completely ignoring the fact that he even had his arms around the other.

Delirious tuned over looking up at Evan with lidded eyes "yeah...much better" he smiled. Vanoss felt his face go red when the other turned around facing him "A-ah that's good then...". Delirious looked at him in confusion "what?...is there something on my face?" he asked as he moved his hand up to his cheek wiping whatever he thought was on it. Evan shook his head "uh no, no...it's just I just realised...I was hugging you when we were sleeping...", Delirious blushed faintly "so?" he said as he shrugged his shoulders. Vanoss looked away from him and sat up as he cleared his throat " it's just weird...and super gay" he mumbled. Delirious just looked at him when he said that it felt like his heart was torn. Jonathon sat up as well and got out of the bed looking at the ground, he clutched his fists with fury "A-are you fucking serious right now Evan?! It's not like we kissed or anything...but since it's a fucking big deal for you, you can go fuck yourself..." After saying that Delirious stormed out of the room, slamming the door shut.

 Evan blinked a few times just processing what just happened, why did Delirious act like that? Vanoss shook his head feeling guilty. He hopped out of bed and walked over to the spare room where he was again, this visit was going terribly wrong he thought to himself he was just doing everything wrong and Delirious wasn't himself. Evan gently knocked on the door before turning the handle surprisingly it wasn't locked. Opening the door the room was completely dark, Evan squinted his eyes looking around until he saw Jonathon under his covers. "Uh...I'm sorry for whatever I said Delirious..." he mumbled. Jonathon didn't answer him. Vanoss walked over to him and pulled the covers off him "I said I'm so-...what the fuck are you doing Delirious?!". Jonathon looked up at him with tears streaming down his face; his arm was dripping with blood coming from a open cut.

 Vanoss looked at him with wide eyes and he grabbed his wrists making him face him "why did you do this?" he asked firmly. Delirious shook his head "I-I can't tell..you" he mumbled out. Only making Evan even more furious, he tried to calm down "you can tell me Jonathon this is horrible...you can't do this to yourself" he said softly trying not to scare the other. Delirious shook his head "no...I can't tell you" he mumbled again pulling his arms free. Vanoss grabbed his arms again and reefed him off the bed and into his arms as he carried him to the bathroom to get him cleaned up.  He sat Jonathon on the sink and rinsed a face washer under some warm water "...I don't understand why you aren't telling me what's wrong...but you need to get cleaned up". Delirious nodded, as Evan gently placed the warm face washer on the cut he flinched and whimpered in pain making Evan look at him "Well you did it Delirious". Wiping the scar Delirious gave in "...I uh" Vanoss looked up at him "hm?", Jonathon looked down at the ground "...you wanted to know why I did this?". Vanoss nodded "yeah...I kept asking you, why you did it Delirious?" He winced in pain again as Evan wiped over the cut again. "Well...you sounded like you didn't like hugging me when we were in bed...and I know you didn't mean it like that but I-"Jonathon felt tears in his eyes again. Vanoss noticed the tears, wiping them away with his other hand "and?". Delirious looked at him with a frown on his face "I-I...uh liked it..." he whispered softly. Evan looked at him and nodded "I'm sorry...okay? I didn't mea-""I'm not finished..." Jonathon mumbled. "I liked it when you hugged me...because I like you Evan...I-I like you in the gay way..." he mumbled feeling tears again. "I understand if you don't want me to stay here or...or even probably play video games with you anymore...but I can't help tha-"He was cut off by a pair of lips pressed to his. Delirious felt his heart pound fast the kiss was so quick that he forgot where he was or even who he was "wha?" he whispered. Evan smiled softly "...I like you too Jonathon~".
