Write about six things you see

I see this notebook. I see it open in front of me, its stark white pages lined with grey, soon to be filled with my untidy scrawl. I see the muddy grey ribbon protruding from its spine, to mark my place. To the right of this notebook, on my table lies a spiral bound notepad, featuring the engraving of a beaver, and the phrase "dam it" embossed in gold. Directly in front of me, perched on a towering stack of books, I see an Ipad, in a dirty blue case, the result of years of an irresponsible child's hands. To the right of the stack, a bookmark lays haphazardly on the table, discarded there without much thought. Lastly, shedding the light necessary to view the entire portrait, a desk lamp, standing dutifully at the edge of the table, threatening to tip over at the slightest movement of its surroundings.
