School. I lay in bed and sighed to myself, I then turned slightly so I could face my alarm clock. Please go back a few hours. Please just a few. But it didn’t. Of course it didn’t.
I groaned and heaved myself out of bed and down the stairs to the kitchen. My older brother Stephen was already ready for school and was sitting at the table texting his girlfriend. I don’t know what he sees in her, she’s obnoxious, covered in acne, has a tattoo for every one and everything she’s slept with (and it is a looong list) and is known as the Scrimgeor sket (Scrimgeor High is our school). Oh I almost forgot to introduce myself, I’m Daniella Frost. I’m 16 years old and I’m mixed race but instead of having brown eyes like all other mixed race girls I have sapphire blue eyes. Some people find this weird but I’m perfectly happy with the way I look.
I sat down opposite Stephen with a bowl of corn flakes. He looked up at me,
“Are you walking to school with Harry and I? Or are you going to meet your friends on the bus?”
I looked at him like he was crazy, why on Earth would I ever want to miss a chance to walk with Harry? Okay, okay I’ve probably lost you haven’t I? Yes I have. You see Harry is… GORGEOUS!!! He is the only fit boy in the whole school sixth form and is my brother’s best mate. Could life get any better? I hear you ask, and the answer to that question is yes it could. Harry may be my brother’s best mate but it is impossible to get some privacy with the guy. It’s like he’s a carrot and I’m a donkey and he’s dangling just out of my reach. Trust me life could get a whole lot better. Anyway as I was saying… Harry is the fittest boy in the whole of the school sixth form. He is half Italian and half Spanish. He has brown thick curly hair and this drop dead sexy smile that makes my heart melt every time I see it. Are you getting the picture now? I don’t want to go into too much detail on how gorgeous he is though as he’s mine and the last thing in need is competition.
“Umm yeah Stephen I’ll walk with you because…umm my friends aren’t getting the bus today” complete and utter lie “ So unfortunately” fortunately “I have to walk with you two”
“Well you’d better hurry up then because we’re not waiting around for you” he said getting up from the table. “Do you want me to take that for you?” Stephen said pointing at my empty bowl. I nodded getting up to go and get ready.
I spent the whole journey staring at Harry. A few times he turned to look at me so I had to quickly look away. After about half an hour we made it to the school gates so Stephen and Harry walked off towards the sixth form block and I made my way to my form room.
