“Ella you’re soo lucky, you got to spend thirty whole minutes with him” Haley said, her eyes wide. Haley along with Hannah, Adam and George called me Ella whilst Carlos and felicity called me Dani. Haley is my best friend and has been since primary school. She is tall, thin, black and easily one of the prettiest girls in the school. She has high cheekbones and full lips that accompany her dark eyes. And both of them were on me.

“So?” Haley said fixing Carlos with a confused look “Why is that so exciting?”

She had always had a soft spot for Carlos but he’d never taken any notice of her. At least I don’t hear Harry talk about all of his crushes in front of me.
“Come on Ella we should get to science” Haley said.
As we walked Carlos and Adam ran past us towards the science block. Obviously they were in some kind of race. They were always challenging each other. But that didn’t bother me. I was paying more attention to the group of people walking towards us. I turned to tell Haley that Harry was coming our way but her eyes were on Carlos so I left it.
