EARLY UPDATE! YOUR WELCOME!

Friday morning. I was giddy with excitement as I threw on a white hoodie and black leggings-my usual outfits. I like plain and simple. I wolfed down a slice of banana bread with butter, before running outside and hopping onto the bus.

I hummed the lyrics to Miranda Lambert's Automatic. Its a great song, which is currently stuck in my head. By the time the song was done, I was singing. "Ugh! Jessie, quit singing, God damnit!" I rolled my eyes at Josh, screaming the lyrics for God Made Girls now. No one payed me any attention. They were used to it, by now. Josh was a total rude, impolite a- uh, yeah. Rude, impolite, know-it-all snob. I try my best to ignore him. We have the frienemy thing going on. He will yell at me to shut up, I snap back at him, he says something, makes me laugh. This usually happens in the time span of a minute. I turned around in my seat and continued "Humming" my music.

"So, are you ready to fail miserably tonight?" I rolled my eyes at Cole. I was sitting on a picnic table, playing Crossy Road. I watched gleefully as my unihorse got pancaked onto the road. Cole rolled his eyes laughing. "Cole, listen. We both know this, and as much as you hate to admit it, your going to be defeated by a 5th grade girl tonight." I patted his back, chuckling. He laughed. "We both think were better than the other person, but really, we basically have the same skill level. So whoever wins tonight, I'm not placing bets on if it will be me or you." I stared at the ground. "That was an awesome speech, Cole." He smiled proudly. "But I still think that I'm going to win." I finished with an evil laugh. In response, he rubbed his hand back and forth on my head, causing static electricity to make my hair stand up on end. We both laughed. And Lana chose that moment to walk in and ruin the moment.

"Hey... Jessie. And Cole..." Lana raised an eyebrow at me. Questioning why I was sitting 2 inches away from her mortal enemy. Ohhhhh no. "Bye Cole." I said quickly, hopping off the table. But if it were my choice, I would stay sitting next to him. I like being close to him. "Why were you sitting next to... him?" Lana grumbled, looking and sounding disgusted. "I was sitting and relaxing when he came over and day next to me. So I was trash talking him. Well, telling the truth. Saying how I would win tonight. Because I'm wayyyyyy better than him." I didn't like lying to Lana. But I did it so often, its become a daily thing for me.

I relaxed in the reading corner, burried in soft, fluffy pillows. I love my math and english teacher, Mrs. Kyra. Mrs. Kyra was the awesomest, kindest, most understanding person in the world. Say she assigned 10 math questions from the textbook. If you were to do 3 questions, and then tell her that you don't feel like doing the other 7 questions. You can tell her that you will do the rest of the questions at home. She's cool with it. And if you only do 5 questions at home? She's cool with it. As long as you understand what your doing, your good to go. And so, after completing my fractions worksheet, I was sitting in a corner in the room, surrounded by short bookshelves, a window and sitting on pillows, a laptop balanced on my legs as I played a hair stylist game on the internet. I enjoy messing up the princess's hair, shaving her bald or dying it blue. I felt soft breathing on my neck, and knew immediately that it was Cole. He reached over me and cut off Ariels hair, making it uneven. I smiled and dyed her hair blue. Cole chuckled as he added green streaks. "Wonder if her prince will dance with her at the next ball." he muttered. I grinned. "I'm not sure if Ariel even goes to balls, to be honest, who would want to dance with her anyways?" He laughed and then moved onto some of the pillows at my feet, opening an Archie comic and reading it. I decided to do Elsa Heart Surgery. You would think that the website would be less graphic than this, but no. I squirmed and kicked my leg, groaning, as I split open Elsa's chest. Cole grabbed my leg and held it against him, probably so that I wouldn't kick him in the balls. I snapped my laptop shut. I couldn't take anymore of that game. I propped myself up on my elbows and looked at Cole. "Your only holding one of my legs. I can still kick you." He narrowed his eyes. "You better not." I smirked. "Jessie! Come here!" Lana called across the room. "Just a second!" I yelled. I stood up. Cole looked up at me. "If your feet are tied together, you cant kick me in the balls as easily. And you wont be able to run with your feet tied together, meaning that I can win tonight." I frowned. What on earth was he talking about? Then, without warning, He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me down beside him. I shrieked loudly. No one payed us any attention. He grabbed my legs, causing me to fall backwards onto the pillows. He undid my laces within seconds, which amazed me. I had big knots in them that I couldn't undo for months. Cole tied them together, frowning in concentration as he did the perfect knot. One that I could never in a million years undo. Lana walked by. "Jessie! Five minutes ago, I asked you to- ummm..." her voice trailed off, seeing me sprawled across Cole's lap. The look on her face-I couldn't explain it. It was a mix of confusion, surprise, anger, embarrassment. I couldnt help it. I began to laugh. At first, it was a quiet chuckle. But when I saw the expression on Cole's face, it was just too much to take. I began to laugh hysterically, tears rolling down my cheeks. After a couple of minutes, I managed to stop laughing. I looked at Lana. "Sooooo... what did you want help with again?"
