IM SOOOOO SORRY THAT I HAVENT UPDATED IN MONTHS. I HAD REALLY BAD WRITERS BLOCK AND GOT DISTRACTED... ENJOY!

Tiffany and I sat down at the picnic table. Tiffany cleared her throat, then turned to face me.
"So, Jessie, I hear that you kissed Cole after Lana told you specifically not too, and then later on, you rubbed it in her face?" I gasped. "Tiffany, is that what Lana told you?" Tiffany shook her head. "No, but that's what she posted on Instagram, along with a picture of her in tears..." Tiffany explained slowly. I shook my head in disbelief. "What happened was that Cole and I we're flirting, uh at least I think that was flirting, and Lana kept catching us. And then I challenged Cole to a game of basketball..." My voice trailed off. Tiffany nodded her head and gestured for me to keep talking. "Cole and I were playing when I tripped and almost hit my head when Cole caught me. And then we... kissed. The next day, Lana wanted to ride her bike with me, but I was grounded. I knew that I had to tell her about the kiss, so... I did. And she started screaming at me. Telling me how I betrayed her. And s- she said th-tha- that she never wanted to be my f-f-frie-friend anymo-ore." I sobbed, tears running down my face. Tiffany pulled me into a hug. "We will get through this. Don't worry." She murmured.

I found Cole sitting by a huge tree. Its a nice tree, thick, with huge, sprawling roots and soft moss. Its nice to sit by. There's a specific spot that I made, that has roots forming a seat. The ground beneath it is soft and warm. Sunlight filters though the leaves above, leaving the air a perfect temperature- not cold, but not too warm. It is also facing away from the school and away from all people and noise. I call it my moping tree. I crossed through the off limits forest, making a path to my tree. I didn't notice the footprints on the ground. I was distracted, glancing at my watch. School started at 9:15. It was only 8:52. 23 minutes of moping. Perfect. I went to sit down, only to find someone in my spot. I shrieked and lost my balance, falling onto Cole. He let out a yelp of surprise and a gasp as I fell onto him. "WHAT THE-!" I gasped. "What... Why are you at my moping tree?" I exclaimed, jumping up to my feet. Cole looked up at me in surprize. "Your moping tree? This is my moping tree!" He cried. Shaking my head, I sat down next to him beside MY moping tree. He glanced at me. "Why are you moping?" He asked softly. I shook my head. "I don't know how to talk to Lana without upsetting her. But she's been a jerk. By next week, no one will talk to me." I glanced over at Cole. "Please don't read anything on Instagram for a little while." He closed his eyes. "Lana said something about you, didn't she." I nodded, and my eyes filled with tears. "Yeah." I whispered. "She did. And now nobody will want to talk to me except you and Tiffany." I murmured. Then I began to cry again. Cole pulled me into a hug, and we sat like that until the bell rang.

I walked silently down the hallway, towards my locker. Everyone else was screaming , as if they hadn't seen their bestie in forever. Please. With the ammount of time they spend on Instagram and texting, a polite hello would make a lot more sense. I squeezed through the crowd of crazy people, but even then I couldnt reach my locker, There was a circle near it, and it was drawing a pretty big crowd. I pushed towards the front of the crowd. And mentally facepalmed. Kent, Cole's older brother who was in grade 7, was standing in front of his locker next to Kevin, a kid in grade 5. They were both biting into some sort of pepper when I walked up. Tiffany grabbed my arm, her eyes bright with laughter. "Kent and Kevin are having a challenge to see who screams first." I raised an eyebrow. "What are they eating?" I asked, peering at them. Kent's face was bright red. Tiffany chuckled. "Ghost peppers. Spiciest pepper in the world. 401.5 times spicier than Tabasco sauce." The two of us watched as Kent spit out his pepper, gasping, as he gulped down a carton of milk. Then he turned and ran to the bathroom, probably to wash out his mouth and scrub his tongue. Kevin spit out his pepper and grabbed another carton of milk and sprinted down the hallway. Everyone screamed with laughter as Kevin ran into the girls bathroom. I had to laugh when he came running out of the girls bathroom, his face bright red. The crowd thinned out, and I carefully stepped around the chewed up ghost peppers on the floor as I opened my locker and put away my bag and grabbed my books. I shook my head, sighing. A ghost pepper eating contest? My classmates are idiots.

I sat on top of my desk, gesturing to Caroline. Me, Caroline, who is a short smart girl in my grade, Lana and Jenni, who is a short pretty girl in grade 6, sit at one group of 4 desks. I was trying to show Jenni and Caroline what Kevin and Kent looked like. Cole was trying to make his face red to demonstrate the colour of their faces. And Lana? Well, she was ignoring me, staring out the window. I looked at the spare desk beside us, where Caroline, Jenni and I had stacked our binders and books. Lana usually puts hers in the pile, but I don't think she trusted that I wouldn't steal something. So she put her stuff on the floor beside her. Jenni noticed this, but said nothing, only raised an eyebrow at me. I shrugged in response and pulled out a sketch pad and pencil. I was working on a drawing of a patch of flowers, but I found that I couldn't draw when I was angry at Lana. I snapped my pencil in half, I was so angry. Everyone in the class turned and stared at me. I shot them all a glare of doom. When they all looked away in fright, I put my head down on my desk and sighed. Could my day get any better?
