you were standing in one knee aiming you hunting rifle at a white-tailed deer you breathed softly as you put your finger on the trigger ready to shoot the memories of you and your father came to your mined but you quickly ignored them and kept focusing on the game looking through the scoop ones again you saw it standing there then you heard wolves howling and your dog start barking aggressively you looked away from the scoop then to your dog, and when you looked again the deer was long gone but you saw something else something made your dog bark and bark again.is was a pack of wolves coming your way, your dog was about to go and attack the but you ordered him to stay.

Y/N: DD stay here boy i will take care of this.

DD: (bark in agreement).

again you took a deep breath a fired a warning shot at the pack on wolves but they didn't change their direction you pulled the bolt again and fired another shot and again then all of the pack changed their direction probably following the deer that you we hunting.you looked away from the scoop then you took a long breath filling your vision with hot steam you looked down at your shaky hands then you glanced at your dog who was ready to go and attack the whole pack of wolfs to save your life.

Y/N:thank you DD for warning me (you said as you patted his head) but i think we will eat something from the store tonight i'm sorry.

putting your rifle on your back you and your dog walked to your truck. when you arrived to it you took the rifle from you back and laid it beside you.as your dog sat on the other seat while poking his head from the window. after putting the key in the ignition you heard the sound of the engine starting you positioned your two hands firmly on the driving wheel the you drove to the convenient shop.

on the way there:

you looked at your dog as he was poking his head out of the window 

DD: (happy bark)

on the way everyone you pass greets you and wave at you some even say thank you.

a man: hello there y/n

a woman: hi there y/n

an old lady: thank you my dear son.

a kid: oh it's y/n! y/n did you hunt any deer today

 you parked your car in front of a store, after leaving your dog waiting outside you looked around the store as you entered you were thinking of what can you get to eat but your thoughts were cutoff buy the girl who is working there.

Sasha: hi there y/n so how was your day? did you catch any game?

Y/N: no i didn't a pack of wolves beat me to it.

Sasha: i'm sorry to hear that ,but nothing happened to you or DD right?

Y/N: oh no i'm okay  i'm just sorry. i promised you some meat and i didn't get you any.

Sasha: don't worry don't worry i can wait to the next time...so how can i help you to day?

y:n:oh i want some dog food and something fore me to eat.

Sasha: oh i cooked something you can take some if you want and do tell me no i cooked too much and i can share with you.

Y/N:thank you Sasha here's the money for the dog food.

before you could walk away Sasha called your name again.

Sasha: hey Y/N take this.

you looked at the thing she gave you and it was a first aid kit.

Sasha: you don't have to pay me for it, it's on the house...you know you were lucky that the wolves didn't attack you and if that happened and i hope not at least you will find something to help you.
