There, on top of the bridge, he saw a familiar figure whose hair is blonde. He never thought he would see him in the bridge at this time. Snowflakes falling through the purple hair and those carnelian eyes meets gold.

"Ah, never thought I would see you at a time like this, Tsukasa-kun"

"Honestly I'm surprised you're here as well. Hold up, something's on your hair"

Tsukasa went to pick up the snowflake that fell in Rui's hair.

"I appreciate it, Tsukasa-kun"

"Hah? It's the leader's duty to look out for the director, remember?"

"I see, I see. What I mean is, I'm glad that you look out for me often."

"Huh?"

Smiling along with the breezy wind, his heart feels warm and he felt like their souls were intertwined. Smiling from the warmth and there are slight tears falling from the eyes. But these tears like rhinestones went away by a wind.

"Ah, it's because, you're such a great friend to me, that is."

He wanted to say more than that, but in the end, he ended up being silent for seconds.

"Ah, of course! I wouldn't be what I am now if you weren't there on my side as well."

Tsukasa's voice, it's deeper than usual, yet it's calming. Hearing those words through Rui's ears, his cheeks painted into red. Is this what heart to heart conversations feels like?

"So he considered me, as a special person to him?"

"It's normal, he says things to others as well. Don't waver, just accept that you'll never win his heart nor stay as friends after this."

At the end of the day, these voices whispered to him.

"Hic..!"

"Rui?"

"Ah, it's just a bit cold, Tsukasa-kun. I can manage"

Before he could knew, the shorter one slowly took off his coat and wrapped it around the taller one.

"I can't risk your health like this! Take it!"

"Eh? You sure? Aren't you cold as well?"

"Honestly I need something cold because these layers almost killed me!"

"Ahaha, but not as much as you sled through the snow last Christmas?"

"EEK! Stop making me think about it!"

"Fufu, my bad!"

"You can give it back to me until we entered school."

"You're sure about it?"

Rui grinned, making Tsukasa questioning about the other's schemes.

"Y-YEAH! DON'T EVER BREAK IT!"

"Why would I though? You think I have so many ideas stucked up right after you gave me your coat?"

His grin turned into frown. It's true that he doesn't have ideas all the time. His mind is filled about how he could open up to Tsukasa, otherwise he would be worried about how Rui seemed strange for the pass few weeks.

"Tsukasa-kun?"

His mouth ended up saying his name.

"Eh?"

"Actually nevermind..."

"Huh? You look like you want to say something?"

"Probably my habit, fufu"
