I walked back to her bedroom with the tears falling down my face,my mind was completely floating. I cupped her cheeks,rubbing it,examining her face..the face that I miss for a long long time. I can't stop the tears from falling down as I hug her tightly.
"Daddy? Why are you crying?",she rubbed her eyes while positioning her self to sit.
"N-No. C'mon let's go to sleep.",I kissed her forehead,trying not to cry.
"Are you sure that you're okay,Daddy?",she held my hand while cupping my cheeks.
"Yeah yeah.",I wiped my tears,smiling at her to make her to stop from worrying.
"But you're not. I know that. C'mon spill it out.",she rubbed my back. I can't hold my emotions so I burst my tears out and hugged her tightly.
"I-I don't know how to say this but..",I paused for a moment,trying to calm my stuttering voice.
"What daddy?",the tone of her voice was panicking.
"I know who you are.",I murmured as the tears fall hardly down my face.
"Y-You what?",she removed her arms around me,looking like she's going to cry.
"I know who you are.. You're Dani.
All along it's you..that's why you knew everything about me and that's why you're very familiar.",I stare at her,examining her reaction.
"I-I'm not! What are you talking about?",she smiled,her smile was fake because I can see the tears building up in her eyes.
"Don't deny it,Dani. I saw the pictures of us in that room that you've been hiding from me.",I said,my voice was shaking.
"I don't even know what you're saying!",she said,the tears started to fall down her face.
"Please Dani..don't lie to me.",I cried even more,begging her to tell the truth.
"But I'm not Dani!",she defensively said.
"You are.",I mumbled,bursting my full emotion.
"Please. Don't create things that aren't real.",she said,covering her eyes.
"Danielle..why are you doing this?",I cried,pulling her for a hug,but she keeps on pushing me away.
"Please. Don't go near me.",she stood up and grab the knife beside the table. She was crying,I know she doesn't want to do it.
"Danielle..don't do it.",I stood up,putting my hands infront of my chest.
"Don't go near me!",she shouted and dropped the knife on the floor,hurridly running outside.
I can hear her car's engine as she started it up,so I started running downstairs,hoping that I might catch her. I opened the door,and saw her car driving away from the house. I tried to run after her,but I failed.
Why is she denying herself? I mean it's okay for me to know that she's Dani. She's doing this because she still loves me. And I still love her too.
I don't know what to do to find her. They'll recognize me. But I need to,I don't want to lose her again
