Chapter 7: Ambush fight!? & 'Not one of us'

The next morning, of the Palace in the morning. Tygra strides out of the den, clearly agitated. He looks guiltily over one shoulder, then paces to the edge of the promontory/pedestal. "Okay, I have to tell her today. Oh, where do I start? 'Shuri, Koya had a plot, and I was part of it, but I don't wanna be, because...it's because I love you'." Tygra said. He sigs. "She'll never believe me." He said. Tygra walks back towards the den. "But I gotta try." He said. Tygra enters the den. 

"Shuri..." He said. The mutated, female salamandrian-hybrid approaches with a smile. "...I need to talk to you." Tygra said. "Shuri!" A male voice said. Tygra and Shuri turn towards Leonardo as Tygra gasps.

Leonardo was sternly as he put his twin katanas in its sheath. "I don't want you talking with him." He said. He smiles. "I want to talk with him." He said. Shuri smiles, while Tygra looks concerned. Leonardo winks. Tygra and Leonardo walk out of the den, and Shuri watches them go happily.

Later that same day, to a barren landscape of scorched ground and dead trees. Tygra and Leonardo walk across the plain together. "Tigerclaw couldn't let go of his hate, and in the end, it destroyed him." Leonardo said. "I've...never heard the story of Tigerclaw that way." Tygra said. He and Leonardo pause in their tracks. "He truly was a killer." He said.

Leonardo looks upon the charred landscape. "Fire is a killer. Sometimes, what's left behind can grow better than the generation before..." Leonardo said. He kneels down on one knee in the dirt, then draws his hand away, revealing a green shoot. Tygra and Leonardo duck to look at the plant. "...if given the chance." Leonardo said. There was a sound of cackles. Tygra and Leonardo stood up as they look around. Tygra gasps as his ears went down. 

One by one, the Outsiders which are Brooklyn, Destiny, Sakura, Rosalinda, Kylie, Athena, Tamra, Laurel, Olive, Mrs. Gonzalez, Kiaria and Maple emerge from the shadows and stalk towards Tygra and Leonardo as they growls. The turtle in blue looks to the side to see more Outsiders which are Arendelle, Daniella, Stella-Luna, Roxanne, Talia, Reagan, Sky Shark, Catsblood Claw, Chole and Puggle emerging as he gasps and had his hands on his twin katanas. "Oh, no..." Tygra said very quietly and his ears were still down. 

He and Leonardo look back and forth frantically. "No!" He said. The Outsiders which are Veronica, Jay, Jo, Siobhan, Lucia Rosetti, Roxy, Artemisia, Jinx, Mystic, Krisa, Hallocat, Nevermore, Nocturno, Amok, Night, Diamond, Winny, Derby, Zom, Seri, Zog, Trokk and Bandit growls. Koya emerges, flanked by Old Hob and Tiguan.

"Why, Leonardo..." She said. "Koya." Leonardo said angrily. "What are you doing out here, and so..." Koya asked. The mutated falcon grins. "...alone?" Koya asked as she chuckles. Leonardo squares off against the Outsiders as he growls. "Well done, Tygra. Just like we always planned." Koya said. The turtle in blue, Leonardo rounds on Tygra. "You!" He said. 

"No!" Tygra said. Leonardo snarls at him. Tygra looks around at the Outsiders desperately. "I didn't have anything to do with this!" Tygra said. The mutated two-different-eyed tiger's ears went down as he looks imploringly at Leonardo. "Attack!" Koya said. Old Hob lunges at Leonardo who didn't have time to get his twin katanas out as he snarls. 

Leonardo knocks Old Hob away as he grunts. "No!" Tygra yelled. The Outsiders attack Leonardo as they snarls. "Ah!" Leonardo said as he fights back as more Outsiders gang up on him. The Outsiders snarls. 

Tygra jumps into the fray. He knocks an Outsider aside as he grunts. Tiguan kicks Tygra, knocking him into a nearby rock. He falls unconscious. The Outsiders swarm over Leonardo as they snarls. Old Hob leaps into the fight, knocking Leonardo off a cliff. He falls into the gorge as he grunts.
