Chapter 4 - Starbucks = Old Friend

Charlotte's P.O.V.

I walked into the kitchen and rummaged through the drawers searching for the tea. 5 minutes passed and after searching the entire kitchen, with no luck, i decided to take a trip to Starbucks.

"I must have drank all the tea, I'm going to pick some up." As soon as I got my coat and shoes on, two boys stood by my side with in seconds. I furrowed my eyebrows at Niall and Louis and started to giggle at there childish ways.

"What? I want some food." Niall explained. With that I turned on my heels to Louis who was in the process of, poorly, putting on his coat. Once he realised I was waiting for his explanation he properly put his coat on and stood up straight.

"I figured that I'd come too. I just ran out of tea at my flat, and I know how Kendal is about her tea." He sighed, and Niall just rolled his eyes. I chose not to look into it to much and headed out the door with my purse and keys in my hand.

I started the car and the guys got in, Louis in the front, and a hungry Niall in the back. as if Louis read my mind, he turned on my ipod, put it on shuffle, and the song change your life came on. Little Mix is one of my favorite groups and this so happened to be my favorite song. I ended up singing the first part of the song hoping they didn't hear me too much, though with the music blasting I doubted anyone could.

Me-

"She captures her reflection then she throws the mirror to the floor, Her image is distorted screaming is it worth it anymore?

Louis-

"nooo"

Me-

"You're not the only one so let them criticize, You're untouchable when you realize oh oh oh"

All-

The whole car ride went like this, just singing every song that came on, or screaming. I'm pretty sure that my ear drums are dead.

Once we pulled up to Starbucks I parked the car and got out. Niall and Louis quickly threw there hoods over there heads. God I cant believe I almost forgot that they were famous, they act so normal. We opened the door and walked in, Niall went to check out the pastries and I showed Louis to the tea. Louis knew exactly what he had to get, where as I on the other hand spent five minutes picking a flavor. I decided on getting raspberry pomegranate and headed over to Niall who was, in fact, drooling from behind the glass pastry container. I headed to the back and grabbed my apron and walked out to a very suspicious pair of lads and pointed to my name tag, which they looked at and realised that I work here.

"so you guys want any thing to drink while were here? It's on me." I told the boys and the looked up at the menu above my head. "I will take a small vanilla frap, extra whip. And also one of those." He said cheerfully, pointing at a cake pop and I started on his order. After the drink was finished, I wrapped the cake pop up in a bag and handed him the finished products, which he gladly took. " And I'll have a large salted caramel mocha, thanks." he said with a smile, and I started to giggle. "What is it?" His face twisted with confusion. "Salted caramel mocha is what I always get." I put simply and went to making our drinks.

Once i was done, we decided since it wasnt to busy that we would sit down for awhile. we took this time to get to know eachothe a little better.

"Favorite color?"

"White"

"Favorite movie?"

"Warm Bodies"

"Name one thing you really suck at."

"Walking, Standing......."

"If you had to live under the sea what kind of an animal would you be?"

" A Narwhal"

"Tea or Coffee?"

"Tea, but i love my coffee!"

"If you could play any instrument, which would you play?"

"I would absolutely love to play piano, I even have a baby grand at home I just don't have a teacher."

"I could teach you some, if you'd like?" Louis replied. I smiled gratefully and nodded a yes. Niall was about to ask another question when we were interrupted by a familiar young girl.

"Hi sorry to interrupt but i think you dropped this back there." she said to me and handed me my braclet back. I nearly had a heart attack when i realised that it wasn't on my wrist. For my 13th birth day my mum got me that and its almost all i have left of her.

"Oh! Thank you so much!" I said looking up at her, and noticeing who it was. "Lily? Is that you?" she looked at me and took it all in before pulling me in a back crushing hug.

"Holy crap i thought you were back in australia? What are you doing here?" i said still shocked. She sat next to Niall, who strangely blushed a bit, but i brushed off the thought and went back to her.

"I moved back over here! I live just down the street! I tried to call but your phone changed."

"Im sorry, i lost your number. god can you say worst best friend ever?"

You see Lily is my best friend. Shes the only one who knows about me being Simon's niece besides the boys. She moved two years ago and it was horrid for me. We tryed to keep in touch but eventually we failed, misrably.

Me and her ended up talking and catching up. She still didnt notice she was sitting by Niall, so i tried to hold back a laugh. Which failed.

"What?" she asked.

"Do you realize who your sitting by?" I asked and she looked over to her right.

"Bloody hell why is Niall Horan next to me? Omg, why is Louis Tomlinson sitting by you?" she whispered, totally lost and we all caught in a fit of laughter.
