Maki went to her room and Laid down on her bed ...she reached for her night stand and pulled out a blade and looked down at her wrist *what's even the point everyone I love dies ... I wish I never was born* and cut her wrist with rage *I'll never forgive myself for letting kaito die like that ....I really am worthless arnt i* she bit her clothes and deeply cut her skin ..she then got some bandages to wrap around it and went to sleep but before she actually feel asleep *nothing feels real anymore..life feels empty now ...I'm lost* a tear streamed down her face and she slowly drifted to sleep
The next morning she got out of bed checked out the cut to see if it was OK she wrapped it up in new bandages and then she headed out her door she then bumped into shuichi "oh sorry"she said "it's oka-.....maki is something wrong you don't look well"shuichi said "yea yea I'm completely fine haha"maki replied,shuichi put his hand on her shoulder "maki...tell me what's wrong please"shuichi said "....fine..I geuss.. I will"maki said they ten went to shuichis room "so maki what's wrong" shuichi asked "i um been feeling really down since kaito died I feel alone and lost ..like I lost my strength "maki said "but maki you have me...your like a sister to me ..I mean yeah you're a little cold but I know that deep inside you really care and you're not really a bad person I care a lot about you and I don't wanna lose you ... ever"shuichi said ,maki sniffled "shuichi....you actually care about me...like a sister "she said softly "yes..I care about you your a great friend"shuichi said as maki got up and hugged him tight "do you wanna live?"maki said "is that a good thing"shuichi said "we'll i uselly say do you wanna die ,but you I want you to live so we can be like real siblings..I've never had one"maki said shuichi and maki giggled at makis wholesome joke "yes maki I'd like that a lot "shuichi said with a smile
"Shuichi I think I should show you something..."maki said "hm what is it"shuichi asked "I'm sorry "she said as she revealed the deep cut in her wrist "maki!why would you do this?"shuichi said "I just I felt so ..so lost I wanted to end it -"maki said before cutoff by shuichi "maki.even if you lost I'll always come to find you..I know it's hard but I'll do all I can to protect you..that's what a brother would do"shuichi said as they hugged and after awhile maki went back to her room relieved about what shuichi had told her.
