I groaned in annoyance as Colby walked into basically his room I was chilling in. I took my headphones off.

"Need something?" I asked, he just stared back at me.

"I was just coming in for some pajamas."

"Cool, hurry up and then get out." I growled lowly, as I watched his every move.

He let out a sigh as he grabbed his clothes.

"I thought we were bonding." He mumbled before closing the door instead of slamming it.

I hummed before putting my headphones back on.

Maybe I was a bit harsh on him, I mean he did seem pretty sad.

I sighed before placing my headphones on the bed and made my way to the closed door.

I walked out into the hallway and made my way downstairs, I turned to the couch were Colby sat.

"Hey, I'm sorry for-" I paused as Colby's eyes were red and seemed wet, I watched as he quickly wiped them.

"Yeah, whatever- it's fine."

Was he crying? Embarrassing I guess.

"I'm-" I began.

"Go away."

"Please."

I stood there for a bit before walking up behind the couch where he sat.

I wrapped my hands around his neck and placed my head on the top of his. I basically just hugged him.

"Goodnight, Colby." I said before unwrapping my arms from him and then made it back to his room.

"Ooooo~ Alpha's got a soft spot~" A familiar voice came from the living room, I stopped mid way on the stairs and listened.

"Shut the fuck up Jake." Colby growled, but laughed a bit after.

Colby must have been on the phone with Jake, ranting to him or some shit.

"Plus, he doesn't even like me. In fact he hates my guts." Colby's playful tone soon turned into a rather harsh one.

"Just give it some time, he'll understand soon enough."

Colby hummed.

"Also, try to be nice to him."

"I FUCKING AM, YOU-" Colby stopped mid sentence as the call ended.

"Bastard." Colby whispered softly after.

I walked back to his room after I basically just spied on them.

It's now the next morning. Today I decided to try and socialize with Colby.

I walked to a pile of bags that held my clothes from the time he took me shopping at the mall.

I picked out a basic outfit, a plain hoodie with some jeans.

I brushed my teeth and did all my hygiene and stuff, and walked out to meet with Colby.
