It's been two years since that moment with my mother and I'm able to now crawl around the house although it does always end up with me getting chased by either Lily or my mother. Still my vocal cords aren't developed enough to speak properly so all that comes out when I talk to them is a series of gurgles and noises even if I had already spoke my first words already. Speaking of my mother here she comes now, walking quickly over she picks me up to eye level and frowns slightly "Astral you know how I feel about you wandering off by yourself " she does realise that I'm a baby right? I ask myself before unleashing my signature move!
Tilting my head to the left slightly "mamma" I say whilst smiling and lifting my arms up towards her. With small tears in the corners of her eyes and a smile on her face I'm brought closer to her as she rubs my cheek against hers "awwwwww I can't stay mad at my cute little Astral!" heh works every time. I think to myself as she walks to the living room with me still in her arms passing Lily and the other brown-haired maid on the way, but before she was out of sight I casted [Appraise] on her to see if any of her stats or skills had changed.

Her skills are all pretty impressive to say the least it makes me wonder how it is that people get their skills or if their just born with them? Deep in thought I don't notice that mamma has already sat down on our long sofa and layed me on her lap. This has become a daily thing for us where she would rather read a book to me or just sit there and take a small nap both were pretty good options considering there wasn't many other things to do for now.

It's the beginning of spring now I can tell because of how all of the flowers in the garden have started blooming. It really is quite the beautiful site in all honesty, I've also just turned three years old, but I still can't walk properly but I have begun to talk it's a little hard at some times but hey I can still talk. My mamma is really possessive of me and doesn't like me to be away from her for long so I try to not be away from her for long I've also learnt a little bit more about the people living here as well, Lily is really kind and sweet but also extremely clumsy as well, Natalie is a little bit cold to everyone but I think that's her just trying to be professional despite that I know that she is still a nice person on the inside. Ryull is the last person that lives inside of the mansion that I'm aware of at least, he's a dark elf and is much quieter and more distant than Natalie I can hardly ever find him around the mansion and when I do, he is only ever there for a second before disappearing.
Still the times I enjoy most is when she reads stories to me as I lay down on her lap. I'm not sure why but something about adventurers fighting monsters or saving people in trouble really appeals to me but that just might be my three year old mentality. Out of everything that has happened in this house for all the time I've lived here i only have one question.
who is my father?
At first, I thought that it was Ryull but it couldn't be we look nothing alike, and Mamma never even looks his way twice so doubt that they are married. The main clue was that Ryull is a dark elf and I'm a half-demon so there's no way that it would be possible, so in that case who is my father then?
