Haunt Me (C!Tommy Angst Warnings in description)

Help me..

I was leaving Puffy's house
I had just finished our section of therapy, Wil did walk me to her's but since Im no use to him now he left

I guess it was just something Phil wanted him to do since he was probably busy, and since Wil is a quite busy man he probably left to see Quackity or to.. I don't know..
He's busy.. thats all I'll say..

I guess its quite lucky seeing as I was planning to go to Niki's after Puffy's

I was waking around the area following the lights, I feared Dream and if he'd try torture me or kill me

I was speed walking as I didnt want to cause disruption and attention to me if I ran so I took big steps. I might of looked a bit weird but nobody was out at the time as it was dark and not anymore as bright as earlier

I saw the bakery in sight and I began to sped up, Its lights were still on cause Niki would be cleaning up and of course she was, wiping tables and counters from any crumbs left behind by others

I started to run because I heard footsteps near me, I dont know whether they're mine or theres actually someone is close by but all I want is to feel safety

When I got close to the door I slowed down so I wouldn't alarm Niki

The bell rung from ontop of where I stood when I opened the door

Niki then looked up at me then gently put her brush beside to lay on the wall then walked in the room that sat behind the counter

She came back out holding a white paper bag and a cup, she brought to the table that I stood next to then went off sweeping again

I sat down and I wondered what she might of saved for me for a second

I sipped the cup and it was hot chocolate and I then opened the bag up to see a strawberry bun..

Something I use to always order then I popped in every week or so

"Thank you so much Niki.. you dont know how much this means to me" I stared at her watching her turn her head at me and give me a quick smile

She went back to sweeping then said "I couldn't allow you to starve, You need to eat"

She was everything to me at this point
She was my guardian angel that I needed the most
She helped me

Im still living because of her.. Without her I probably would of starved to death

"Thank you." I said again
She chuckled a bit "You said that before, no need to thank me Tommy" I could tell she was smiling at me from the light tone in her voice that was stronger then her tired one

"Would you like to stay at mine for a bit so  you wouldn't have to walk alone to yours?" she could tell I was trying to hold back the fear from me constantly turning around staring outside the window ever minute as I slowly ate

"Yes please" I could feel some weight come off my shoulders because of thought of running into someone

I finished eating my bun and drank the remaining hot chocolate that was in the cup

I looked up and saw that she was finishing off the last table
"Niki.." I said slowly as I stared
she rearranged the flower pot to sit perfectly in the middle of the table
"Mhm?"

"Thank you, so much this means so much to me" I bowed my head to her as if she was looking back at me and when I looked back up at her I could see her smiling walking to the back to take off her work clothes

She came back a couple seconds after with her black fur coat in her arms with keys in her right hand

"Your welcome Tommy"
we smiled at each other she took one of the lanterns that sat on a shelf near the front door and then turned off the other lanterns and ceiling lights

I stood in almost darkness next to the door waiting for her to come back
When she did she passed me the coat
"You wear it, you'll be cold when your wearing just that in this weather" and then nodded her head in the direction outside

"Thank you" I said for like the forth time to her

We took a step outside and Niki stood there locking the door so no one can get in

She turned back looking at my direction then the direction to her house

She raised her hand a bit and I took it straight away
I felt like a child for that walk to her house, like a toddler who just holds their mum's hand for protection
