"I knew it was a mistake trusting you." Cait grunted as she tried to escape "You've been a real picnic yourself." Vi muttered "I'm not the one who walked us into, not one, but two of Silco's traps." the two were tied and blindfolded, unable to move and no idea where they were. "This isn't Silco, it's someone else." Vi sat back, not much to do until they come back for them. "How do you know?" Caitlin asked "Cause we'd already be dead." Vi shrugged. Cait huffed "Oh, very nice. When were you planning to tell me that your lunatic sister works for him?" Cait snipped "Just as soon as you came clean about what the hell you're really doing down here!" Vi yelled back, Cait went silent. "That's what I thought."

Cait continued to struggle and then a thought hit Vi. "Wait, where's Amara?" she sat up and looked around even though she couldn't see through the bag they tied over her head "Amara?!" she yelled. Cait grunted again "It's no use. They probably killed her or left her back with your sister." Vi clenched her jaw "Hey you bastards!" Vi yelled, footsteps were heard and then struggling "Get your hands off of me!" Vi yelled as she was pulled from the ground "Leave her alone!" Cait kicked out but there was no one near her "Let me go!" Vi tried to fight but she was still tied up "Vi?" the door slammed shut as they took Vi away "Vi! Vi!" Cait yelled after them.

The bag was lifted off her head and Vi recognized the guy she beat up on the platform, he snarled at her and left. Her eyes landed on a figure in a chair, a mask still firmly on their face "You shy? Or just ugly?" Vi spat, "What are you gonna do with us? Why did you take us? You better not hurt Caitlin." she struggled in the ropes that held her "Where is my friend!" she lunged. The person stood and took off their mask "You look good for a dead girl." she sat back in shock....

"Ekko?"

"What do you know about this?" he asked opening a cylinder with a glowing blue ball inside. "Nothing. What the hell is this all about?" Vi asked "What were you doing with Jinx?" he continued his interrogation "Her name is Powder." Vi stood and glared "And I just found her when you and your goons showed up." she scoffed "It's me. Vi. Same person who used to take you down to the junk heap and hose you down when you got covered in grease." Ekko turned from her "That was a long time ago. People change." she sighed "Yeah. I'm getting that."

Ekko raised a brow "Are you working for Silco like your friend is?" Vi glared "Fuck. You." Ekko threw his hands up "I thought you were dead. Now you show up with a Piltie and give her a tour of the Lanes?" he asked incredulously "You were following us? Why didn't you say something?" Vi asked "I didn't know if I could trust you. On top of an enforcer, you were also towing around Amara who is known to be screwing the enemy!" he yelled.

"S-so you just come out swinging?" Vi asked "Gee, I wonder who I learned that from?" Ekko gave her a look "Ah, well, you shoulda learned more. You still punch like a little boy." Vi spat. "And you still block with your face." Ekko got in her face and she let out a disbelieving chuckle. "I remember when you wouldn't stand up to me." she dropped the ropes holding her and hugged Ekko tightly. "I missed you, little man." she breathed. Ekko stood shocked "How long have you had those off?" he asked "How long have you been whining?" he hugged her back.

"Is that a real tree?" Vi asked as Ekko lead her out into the place he now called home. It was tucked away and secluded but the people that lived there lived in peace. "Pretty cool, huh?" Amara walked over and Vi let out a breath of relief "What, did you think he killed me? I'd like to see him try." Amara smirked, but her usual menacing aura was changed by the way she stumbled forward. Vi caught her "Woah, what's wrong with you? Ekko hit you a little too hard on the head?" Vi chuckled. Amara blinked rapidly and lifted her head to look at Vi, Vi noticed her pupils were tiny and flickering back and forth like a flame.
