Home-Coming Part 9

The Turtles returned home with a new sense of purpose it is time to go home, rescue the city from the Kraang and put their family back together. But it was one thing at a time.

Leo and Donnie were leading the way doing up the party wagon and making built in weapons and Raph who loved the fact they were going home was so enthusiastic by the idea of going home threw himself into helping. 

Mikey was helping in his own way he was feeling better and stronger than ever his healing abilities were in fact unnatural but he concealed his inner anxieties,

he was worried now he had Kraang DNA in his body and much of his brain that whether once he was close to them they could take control of him in some way again as they had before although then he could resist just, he didn't know about now after his transplant, he was fearful he could harm his family if commanded to do so by Prime or Sub Prime but didn't want to voice his fears. 

He was tired of causing so many problems for his brothers. He wasn't sure anymore what he was now, was he as much Kraang as a turtle was he dangerous to his family or even the world he was stressed what everything that happened would mean. 

Soon the party wagon was redesigned and Donnie did an awesome job engineering it even if he did say so himself! 

The turtles bid farewell to the farm that had been their home for all these months and it's occupants manly the chickens and surrounding wildlife Donnie admirer and remembered their adventures which weren't all bad and set off bound for New York City. 

Mikey hid himself away in the back, the turtles had to let Casey drive in the hope he could get them in past the human but Kraang controlled guards Casey being human stood the best chance out of all of them but it was soon clear it was going to be a tough ask with the Kraang having taking over everyone's minds and everyone was their police force.

Casey's chatter failed to get them in, so he burst through the roadblock, the turtles got themselves underground they cautiously headed to the lair but found surveillance drones everywhere even underground Mikey hung back with Casey and April but soon his brothers returned, Splinter wasn't there but they were able to grab some weapons which would help them. 

April was unable to connect with Splinter when she tried through meditation she reasoned he was either hurt, unconscious or detached from his body in a way she wasn't sure off she wouldn't entertain the notion he could be dead and the turtles had already got reassurance from the spiritual visit from Splinter he was alive, so that spurred them on. 

The turtles and their two friends decided to search for their Sensei, as a priority, Mikey was scanning and his vision and hearing were sharper than before but didn't share this with his family for now, Mikey could scan and track the way April could he could hear bleeping as if his brain was computerised and he realized he was homing in on his father's location, he lurched forward and lead the way without communicating as to why his family chased after him in confusion but stopped in their tracks at the sight of Splinter but never had the chance to explain nor did he plan to, Splinter was without his usual robes and basically acting like a frightened cornered animal not speaking but attacking at will, they didn't know what to do they didn't wish to fight their father after a brief scuffle after Splinter had lunged at them Splinter's fight or flight response became a flight one and he fled he went up to the surface and was caught in between The Kraang and Shredder's forces. 

The turtles saw Splinter get captured by the Kraang and handed over to Shredder's henchmen, the Kraang just wanted April so cared little about a mindless mutant rat, they followed at a distance using April's abilities to track mutant movements, Mikey was also able to follow but was more focussed on staying as far from the Kraang as possible right now so stayed quiet allowing April to do her thing.
