Enemies We Love

Prologue

Sometime before all of this mess i got myself into, life was great. I was a little girl, with my sister and brother. My parents had their own kingdom out in the deep forest, where we would everyday to greet our people in town. It was beautiful where I lived, waterfalls, hideouts, and places everywhere to explore and play hid and seek at. I had a wonderful family, especially. I got to go outside where we spent most of our time and the kingdom of the forest, we would always go and pick bouquets of flowers for mom and papa and loved everything about our life. Everyday during tea times with my younger sister, Esmeray, and mom we would laugh and talk about girl things. While we were doing that my brother, Silas, and papa would go out and teach Silas how to hunt for things, and also how to ride horses.

One horrid day, me and my family were outside as a normal day would be, outside during tea time. Me, Mama, and Esmeray were sipping tea when all of a sudden we hear charging of horses coming from the east direction. Papa and Silas were in the woods so no one was here to protect us. Mamas eyes looked petrified and sad, almost like they were bad guys. "Girls, go hide this moment. FAST, you cannot stay here, go find somewhere safe and stay there. If they don't leave and stay here trying to find you, go to the village and ask for help to stay there, they know what's going on. Do you understand me?" She said frightened. "Yes mama." We said together, our voices breaking. "Thank you girls" Tears streaming down mamas face reddening it "now go i love you, be safe." Mama said while kissing our temples, she was on her knees when we saw the most traumatic things while running to hide. Our mama, "Ma... ma?" MA, NOO, i said internally knowing not to scream. I saw our mom get killed, and arrow shot right through her heart. I had hidden my sisters eyes making sure she didn't see. Crying both, we ran, and ran like there was no end.

We heard dads battle roar throughout the air, slowly silencing until there was nothing left. "Sissy, where's mama and papa? And silas? Are they okay, what happened?" Esmeray, screeched with a sad voice. "Shhh, it's okay don't worry, everything is going to be okay. Focus on running we will be at the village in 5 minutes. I will explain everything as much as i can." As frightened and we both were I had no idea what to do, as we just ran...

Once we got to the nearest village in our kingdom, we broke down people rushing towards us. "It's the princesses!! Get the meds immediately!!" Someone yelled to the crowd rushing in. "Help, our castle has been attacked" Tears streaming down our faces. "mama told us to come here because she said you guys know what's happening." I sobbed. "Yes dears come here, the meds will be here in seconds and we will heal you flowers and take you in. I'm so sorry this is happening." The woman's voice was smooth and calm, treating us like her own children. "Thank you so so.. mu.. ch..." My voice trailed off as i fell in deep sleep.
