Oh to be so tired.. but well rested to. Timothy's eyes opened slowly and it was still dark.. he leaned up some and got hit by light, quickly hitting his head back into his pillow to not deal with the light because good God after a long rest the light could hurt your eyes. His pillow vibrated a bit and he squinted slightly, pushing himself up and looking forward to see Jack's chest, immediately to which he looked up with wide eyes to see jack laughing at his reaction to waking up.
"Sleep well I noticed, Kitten?" Jack asked, seaming to be focused on something he was holding behind Timothy.
To this Timothy nodded, slowly lowering himself again, saying as it wasn't like jack really moved at all to let Timothy get off him. "Yeah.. thanks for being a pretty comfortable pillow.."
Jack nodded, a bit absent minded, "sure.. no problem."His eyes were adjusting between looking at Timothy's eyes then back behind his head. Timothy rose a brow and the next time Jack looked down at his eyes, jack watched them, "did you not sleep well?" Jack asked, as if he missed the point of what Timothy was confused by.
Timothy hummed softly, resting his chin on Jack, "I slept good.. what's um.. what's  behind my head.." Timothy yawned slightly thought his sentence as he stumbled on his words.. he hadn't made eye contact for that long for years.
Jack smirked and looked behind Timothy's head, "oh.. just reading a bit. I didn't realize how much I had my life look like it was together from the outside. Oh and very successful with my work." Jack looked at the book still smirking before his eyes lowered and met Timothy's again.
Timothy was confused for a second, his mind still adjusting through morning fog, but soon enough it clicked and jack watched as it happened to in the others head, seeing the slight panic in his quickly widened eyes. Timothy looked at the shelf and saw all of the pokerchips stacked.. off of the book... next to where the book was...
Timothy swallowed and slowly sat up a bit more, watching where Jack's eyes were to see if he could figure where exactly the book was behind him, "...is.. is that so..." Timothy continued to raise himself but jack wasn't dumb.
"Yeah, specifically this non-binary character, they seam extremely well built, seems like the writer put in a lot of work. I mean and the readers notes next to the paragraphs, the colorful markings to signify emotions on pages, real interesting." Jack spoke smuggly, unable to take that knowing smile off his face. As soon as timothy so much as was about to grab the book, jack held it high above his own head with his finger in a page, seemingly acting as a book mark, he was about 3/4 the way through..
Timothy reached up fastly to grab it and jack swung the book to his right while pulling Timothy down at his torso with his left arm, laughing when Timothy just looked down, his red face only amusing jack even more. "Oh God Kitten,  you're just adorable! You see the issue tho,  it's that your cognitive receptors? Yeah, those slow down when you take to much... well, anything. Shouldn't have taken so many supliments, sweetheart." Jack was smug with what he said, watching the embarrassment only grow more on Timothy.
He couldn't stop there tho, it was too cute.  And hilarious. " oh,  by the way,  didn't know you could draw so good,  the little sketches at the sides of the pages were my favorite, real cute. And when you just wrote my initials over a word, even cuter, Kitten. Didn't know you did such a great job at studying un-assigned work,  still,  great annoting."
Tim whined,  grabbing Jack's jacket and burying his head all over again, to which he felt the vibration of Jack's laughing, "ok,  while you do that I'll just keep reading and then.."
"NO! or I mean.. please maybe dont?" Jack had a laughing fit all over again when he saw Timothy's embarrassed face shot up from his jacket.
Jack rubbed his eyes once over from laughing,  "alright,  alright.. hooo, ok, I'll stop.." Jack brought up the page he was on,  looking at it before shutting the book and setting it back on the shelf,  "I didn't realize people could get so red, " he mumbled, gently setting a hand on Timothy's cheek,  as if he was checking to see if it was really on fire.
Timothy set his chin on Jack's chest,  looking to the side and not making eye contact. He had to start getting some hold on himself... and hiding his stuff.  Definitely hiding his things.
Jack watched Timothy, looking at the scar now imprinted on his face.  It made him a bit upset that it would happen, he was sure that it didn't happen while he was still running the casino,  so how'd it happen.. he sat up with Timothy on him,  simply dragging him upward with him before reaching his arms up and yawning lightly.  Yeah this annoyed him,  he's getting his office back.
Jack looked down at timothy again,  who seemed to adjust to waking up all over again to.  "Alright, darling,  we're gonna get those bandages changed and then either we both will go or I will go kick that pretty bitch boy's ass. That way,  we're getting my room and my office. " Jack yawned again;  setting Timothy next to him before going to grab the bandages again.
When jack left, Timothy looked in the mirror again and he couldn't help but scowl a bit, he just didn't like his face.. he could just be used to Jack's but he used to miss his freckles. He supposed they were  still there but they weren't as visible as that large scar was. To be honest he didn't remember the scar all the time since it was covered but now... he wasn't a big fan to say the least.
When jack got back he had a small disposable cup of water, guaz and bandage wraps.  "Alright, come here," Jack spoke while sitting next to the bedside, setting the things on it before he slowly undid the bandages from before,  "how about you tell me about something for a change while I do this... how about what happened with that new scar?" Jack questioned,  being surprisingly gentle as he fixed up his side.
Timothy sat silently momentarily before jack went still and looked him in the eye,  the look said many things,  but in this situation,  Timothy recognized it was less of a question as it was a demand. "Oh..  well you know..." Timothy thought how to explain but broke eye contact when he started, "I liked to call the guy Captain Dick Face.. he uh... he didn't like it when he found out I wasn't you.. he...," Timothy thought back,  looking down for a second.  Timothy swallowed and smiled slightly, it wasn't real but it made it easier to talk, "he... was persistent I should say, he wanted to have me for getting around the casino. He... tried to run the casino.. before Pretty boy showed up and not to long after you... left. He decided that if i... if I had your DNA, fingerprints, mask.. it um.." Timothy shook a bit but hid his hands from jack, "he said he could just.. make me you."
Timothy felt his eyes water but he stared down until it dissipated, "he.. kept me in holding a few days prior.. but.. he wasn't patient and he rushed," Timothy looked up a bit again, now just watching Jack's hands, "he had a engravement like thing that looked like a facial scanner. So.. he just but it against my face after he sort of pried off my mask.. oh," he looked back up at Jack who seamed saddened or.. worried maybe, buy he went back to normal when he aaw Tim looking, "the.. the mask went a weird see through like state when that happened.. how does um.. how does that work? " Timothy's head was toilted slightly and he winced when jack took off the gauze pad he'd applied the day before.
Jack thought for a second,  starring at Timothy's side. "Well, he tried to take it off without my finger prints and since I assume he just went for the edges the mask went into a kind of regenerating mode.  So it wasn't gone or broken I assume,  simply regenerating. " Jack said this while now reapplying new gauze, "my turn, how did things go down hill,  was it very quick, how did it all happen," he glanced up to sort of watch the other.  He wasn't to upset with Timothy, really,  but he did want to know the fine details.
Tim fidgeted a little, swallowing before looking anywhere but where Jack's eyes were all over again. "Well.. after about a week of you being gone people were wanting to have more meetings with you and they started to catch on to body doubles existing. After a week and a half somebody hacked our chanelments and broadcasted your... death through out the casino.  People realized we were frauds and not you.... they were angry and while most dopplegangers were murdered for trying to get out,  some tried to help gamblers,  got murdered,  I tried to say let's just chill out and.. they got murdered off or went insane. I stayed hidden and,  you know,  lived and.. yeah.. I think that.. that sums it up," Timothy looked at Jack calmly,  trying not to think too much about everything.
Jack finished up bandaging Tim then heldd him around his chest calmly,  not speaking for a second, "here, put on my jackets. " Jack brought them back over in front of Timothy and Tim did as told. After putting on the jackets,ja k sort of just starred at him. Jack was debating with himself on bringing Timothy with him, sure, he new Timothy could take it 5 years ago;  but jack still felt barely caught up.  Not to mention the supliments wearing on him, which to say the least taking them weekly is about as sane as chugging 6 of those 7 hour enerzy  shot things a day for a month and then expecting your liver to not of failed. He saw Timothy start to awkwardly fumble, and that was his que he watched just a little to long... oh well.
"So,  Kitten,  what do you know about that uhh pretty boy?" He questioned calmly, honestly wondering how someone could choose that off all things to go by.
"Well.. he didn't really run the casino as much as he.. he sorta just says he does, he's tried to work his way up from just being a bandit for... 2 years now..? Almost 3? He's only been a.. a real pest for about a year tho since CDF was around- Captain Dick Face, the other dude, back to pretty boy... he found out how to access controls probably to level b 4 from what I can't tell And as far as I knew he wanted my mask and my hand so he could get full access and I've just kind of ignored him to the best of my abilities."
Jack nodded to Timothy, watching him, "ok, so what your saying is that he has local respect and a few cameras?" Timothy gave a nod while shrugging, "well than,  he'll be an easy take down so long as he doesn't reach A 5."
Jack stretched again, clearly disconcerted by the matress, "alright, Kitten, time to set up our plan." Timothy smiled slightly, trying to overall bring up the mood. He tapped his fingers against his wrist thinking. "Do you have and idea there, cupcake?"
Timothy tapped his foot a little,  still tapping his wrist in thought before looking back to jack,  "I'll be bait and give myself up. "
