Esmé and Theo soon became best friends. Every day after school, Theo came past the treehouse and talked and played for hours. After another year Esmé had already told Theo about everything, about how she had powers, all the powers in the world but she hasn't learned to use them yet and how she has control over the elements and has a special touch with nature and animals. He asked her why she doesn't go to school and after a bit of talking, they decided that she will go to his school.They got put in the same class in year 5. Esmé never had any friends other than Theo who stayed by her side even if that meant he had to give up his popularity and toxic friends. They got made fun of for being loners and nerds but they didn't care, they didn't care at all about the others. They made so many memories together. On the last day of year six, they had a great time.
