Maxi unleashed two rounds in the lobby from his gun and calmly walked back in. Freddy blew up at maxi. "You think that your wrongdoings will attract more customers? What the hell is wrong with you? I get that we lose money, but people lose their lives. Money is replaceable. People are not. You want to get this business up to higher ground but you won't get up and leave. We are running a sinking ship and I am the one trying to save the ship. You are making more holes for the water to come in. Let's not go down this road. Please. At least while I'm in this. You have crossed the line. Have this place all to yourself. I'm done." Freddy walked out and checked on the deceased woman. By now, everyone had left due to death waiting around the corner. Maxi had lost all hope in staying innocent, because either Freddy would slip up or Eli would eat him out. Maxi had thought his life was over, but he was far from done.
