The last thing you remember is the sensation of falling, falling while holding the one you loved most, then next was the darkness. You don't know for how long it's been dark but you can feel yourself start to move, everything remains dark but you can feel your fingers twitch. Then you hear muffled shouting and a loud commotion. You someone hold your hand, fluttering your eyes open you expect to see your beloved Chair. But you are disappointed to see it's just your idiot mom.
"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD YOU ARE OKAY OH MY GOD" Your mother sobs and shouts, your ear drums are not used to so much noise so it causes a migraine. Everything aches and hurts, but you don't care about that. You try to sit up and push away your weeping mother but you find your body won't respond, whether due to pain, medicine or exhaustion you are stuck in bed.
Over the next few days your family comes to visit you, flowers and candies are brought and left at your beside, but still they haven't come. Slowly the realization dawns on you that your love didn't make it. You are all alone now, alone with your evil family. The ones who broke them, the ones who brought your Chair to death. If your stupid mother hadn't tripped over goddamn air. You hated her now, you hated all of them. They will pay.
Late one night at the hospital after careful planning, you get out of bed. Ripping the iv from your arm you run out of the hospital, the security and doctors literally do not care and just let you go for some reason, probably because you are y/n or something.
Now that you are out of the hospital you run to the nearest car. You punch in the window not caring that your hand gets torn up in the process. Open the car and stepping in you reach under the dashboard, luckily those YouTube hot wiring tutorials paid off and you don't get electrocuted.
You zoom down the freeway ignoring the fact your hand has literally been torn to unrecognizable shreds from punching out the window and that your pain medication from the IV tube is wearing off. You are determined to get to your destination, when you arrive you stumble out of the car, your adrenaline seems to have abandoned your body as you drag yourself through the mud and gravel until you get to the cliffs edge.
Looking down you suppress a choked sob. The spot where you last were with your beloved Chair. The place it should've been you instead of them. All that's left down there is the crashing waves against the cliff and the sharp rocks. How did you not die, why not you instead, why. You let out a long overdue scream and burying your head into the ground, you stay there until the sun rises, a new day beginning.
Authors note:
I published this on a different story but I figured more people would see it if I put it here + it might encourage me to actually take it a bit seriously and write more.
