Chapter Four

"The army, have served their purpose to defend us at all costs. Today, it cost them their lives, General Louis, Captain Jared, Captain Kilroy, and Captain Tyrone. These men has shown bravery and power throughout these years, their men were not only soldiers, they were friends of many, the dance partners of our parties, such wonderful souls, succumbed to the Queen Bee's merciless rage." Riley began to tear up... "Without the King Of Terra, Jack. And his comrades, Victor and Belle... I would have joined them, the fates have decided that I would remain to be your Queen, then I shall! By tomorrow, I will look for young adventurers to become the new faces of the army! We will continue to thrive! We will continue to protect our Kingdom!" Her tears were wiped out, and her people cheered, Jack, Victor and Belle stood side by side next to the Queen as her speech goes on. "You see The Dryad in the crowd, Belle?" Jack whispered. "Nope, don't see her..." Belle whispered back.

"Today, we mourn, tomorrow, we party all day and night!" She finished and the people cheered louder.

Later...

"Once again, I thank you all three," Riley told with pure sincerity,
The three kept quiet, even Belle was worried for Jack's mental health since he looked terrible. "Especially you, Belle." Riley told, Belle looked at the Queen. "Oh..yeah... ya know it was, nothing... hehe." She stuttered.
"How would you like to be the Captain Summoner my ranks Belle? A great promotion for the last soldier of my army." Belle gasped at her offer, she could have everything she want!

"That's great! Yeah! Baby! That's what I've been waiting for! Thats what its a-" She then turned to Jack and Victor, who stared at her, but they seemed to be happy for her... "Oh yeah, that also means I won't be in your team anymore..." She sighed. "Belle, you are a powerful summoner, and you proved it back there." Victor admitted. "I say you do what you want, Belle. I will never forget your actions..." Jack told. The Queen looked at Belle with a bit of smug, "Tough decision huh?" The Queen smirked. "Especially if you're leaving behind your lover..." she whispered in Belle's ear with a sing song tune. "OI!"Her face turned red. "Fine! I'm not joining your stupid army if you're gonna be treating me like that!" She growled, then she caught on with the duo. "Come on boys! We are out!" She yelled. The Queen only smiled, "Heh, we do a little trolling..." She smiled, then she re-entered her room.

The Kingdom was in great mourning for the fallen, but it was still as busy as ever, some doesn't care, and some knew the soldiers and honoured them regardless, Belle returned the items from the fallen, she could only obtain very few, she also returned the armor Jack and Victor used, but it was the best she could obtain. The treasure bags obtained from the multiple Queen Bees were collected by the only two guards left inside the Kingdom, the guards outside the Kingdom are still intact.

Riley thought it would be a great idea to create a Summoner's army with the
Bee Waxes, she also kept many weapons within her treasury for other worthy soldiers.

The Queen grew to love building her armies ever since she was chosen by The Guide to lead Ivy Kingdom, she knew every soldiers in the barracks, but now, all of them were gone. Riley felt guilty, she is responsibke after all, but she was satisfied, Jack and his team arrived to defeat the Masked-Lizard. She tried to convince herself this, and drank some ale in her room. Deep within her, she couldn't bear to lose more, and starting again was her only option.

It was getting darker outside, Jack and Victor slept in the Queen's room the other night, and her guest rooms are filled with strangers, leaving them nowhere to sleep in the castle.

"I'm getting tired just walking around, and hearing these babies cry." Belle groaned as the group continued to wander. "Aren't you one of the soldiers? Have you no respect for your fellow fighters?" Jack was confused on why she isn't bothered, but Jack did. "Cuz, I'm satisfied, ya know? Its like winning a game of chess! Like, the foe eating my queen, but I mated him before he could even celebrate!" She boasted. "What's chess?" Victor asked. "It's a common game played around this kingdom, remember those guys we say moving around figures on a wooden box? That was chess." Jack answered. "Sounds boring." Victor told. "Well its harder than you think! And I'm pretty good at it if I say so myself!" She bragged. Then she remembered the original conversation. "You're guilty aren't you Jack?" She almost called him Jacky. Jack only gulped, but he sighed. "We we're too late, we couldn't save the army still, and I almost died... again." Jack admitted. Victor knew what he was talking about. "Well, cheer up Jack!" Belle grabbed Jack by the shoulder. "You know it ain't your fault! Its really not! You saved the Queen!" Belle reminded. "And saved me with your, magic growing eye shield." Victor decided to help Belle out cheering Jack up. "See? Two good things you've done! And if that ain't enough to convince you, it was pretty clear that edgy lizard-lady killed the army! We won against an army killing monster!" She cheered.
