choni- one shots

Toni's job

It was like no other day. Toni was working the shift from 5 to 11 this week at the wyrm. She just tightened up the bar, polished the tables nicely for it to be used for people who'd come in.

The only people there were SweetPea, Fangs, and Jughead. Jughead was still quite upset with toni. Which led to ignorance towards hers. It hurted her feelings but she didn't care knowing what she did back then was for his fucking safety she kept thinking to herself!

A hour or so passed and things around began to get busy. People start to come in and out for drinks and pool. The same ole , same ole. Although there was this one guy who came in every other day. They called him Old Man Sam. He was a drunk of course, but everybody was actually cool with him being around. He didn't cause too much trouble.

Sweetpea!! - toni yells quickly.

"yoo"- he says back.

"Hand this beer over to sam would ya"- she said sliding the glass to sweetpea across the table him catching it with his right hand.

"you got it"- he said walking over to sam placing the cup in front of the alcoholic.

"thank you kid"- the homeless guy replied .
"anytime"- sweetpea said before walking over to the other side of a corner ,to mop the floor where everyone was away from. After cleaning and mopping he went back over to toni to ask her a question.

"Hey tiny¿"- he asks quietly so no one could hear. Even though no one couldn't because of how loud people were jamming and dancing to music.

"yeah¿" - she said restocking the champagne bottles with freshly new ones.

"Jughead haven't said anything at all since he's gotten here. Do you might know what's wrong with em¿" - he asked confused.

"the incident.."- she said. He knew immediately what happened.

"i guess he's in a wreck or what not about him and betty's break up, and somehow me and cheryl was caught up in it earlier , so.."- she said then stopped her sentence with a sigh. He'll get through it, he's tough." - he said facing her then running off screaming at a random who was dancing on stage warning him the floor was still wet. Toni laughed.

Speaking of cheryl.. i wonder what she's doing..- she said to herself in her thoughts about her girlfriend. Cheryl was busy with her report on animals and their habitats for one of her classes. She was having trouble at first about the giraffes but got through it quickly,writing whatever she found . She eventually got bored right after. She missed her tt. She wanted to call but didn't think that was enough. She wanted to see her right away at that moment. At least check up on her even though she knew she was fine.

Cheryl puts her shoes on and heads out the door. She locks the door behind her. She gets into her car and drives to the wyrm. She parked and stepped out her red cherry colored car and locked all doors. She walked in. Fangs , Sweetpea both greeted her as soon as she came in. Jughead heard but didn't say a word, but read his comics. Toni didn't see or notice her appearance yet until the redhead went up to her.

"Im guessing you're here for tiny, since you're never in here red!"- Sweetpea said giggling.

"you're correct."- she said smiling looking around for her girlfriend. "where is she pea.."- she asked concerned and nervous around the people who was there pouring up shots and playing pool. Everywhere she looked a man stared where she didn't like. She immediately found her lover and scrambled over to her. "tt" - she said across the bar trying to get her attention.

"babe what are you doing here. there's nobody but drunks.."- toni said smirking comforting her girlfriend who was unsure of the place.

"i felt alone.. and i missed you.."- she said in a soft voice looking at her.

i bet you did, we'll head out in a bit cherbear.."- toni said wiping the table across from her, then bringing the glasses and plates to the back. Cheryl patiently waited. The brunette soon told sweetpea she was heading out. He got the message, arguing with a random who was trying to cause a fight into the wyrm. Fp wasn't going for it either.

Toni giggled by the reaction Fp took the whole thing. Sweetpea turned around catching her laugh and shaking his head with a giggle right after.

The girls walked through the back door since everyone was coming through the front being nosey. Toni was tired. She worked another two hours then what she was supposed. But she didn't mind.

On the road, the girl's had a nice little talk. Instead of going home Cheryl drove to their favorite spot up near the hills passed down thornhill. The sky was always pretty. The stars were more brighter and colorful. They've been going ever since the two lovebirds got together. "How was your day my love¿"- the redhead says randomly while parking into the hill that's connected to a abandoned cabinz No one was ever in it. Nor lived in it. The girl's never went in it neither because of how creepy it looked, though toni tried to convince cheryl to go in with her , playing around that one time. Cheryl wasn't going for it though.

"It was great, Jug's still mad at me though "- she said facing towards the redhead after the girl stopped the car. "When is he isn't mad"- she said in a sarcastic but serious tone. Toni laughed. "How about you babe"- toni asked affectionately looking into her eyes giving her full attention. Cheryl observed her looks and did nothing but smiled. "what¿"- toni said smirking at the ginger. "it was great, except the part when you left for work"- she said then opening her side of the door. "that's good bby"- toni exclaimed smiling at her girlfriend she adored the most.

When they got out of the car, Cheryl grabbed a purple blanket that was in the back of the car, which was right behind her . "Woww , you didn't forget it this time!"- the brunette said sarcastically with a goofy look on the lip. "hush"- the redhead said giggling it off. The redhead layed the blanket on the ground where they'd usually lay. Right under, they saw the dipper.

"Babe look!" - toni said catching it with her eyes. She then pointed up at the sky making sure Cheryl saw it.
" I see"- Cheryl says smiling, after catching what her girlfriend seen as well.

They got comfortable. Toni layed first then the redhead bext, laying her head on the brunette's chest. "We haven't did this in a while.."- Toni said smiling uncontrollably. Cheryl agreed on what she said. The two stayed like that enjoying the sounds of the crickets and cars riding by yards away.

Soon enough, Both girls went home. After a long busy- but not so busy, Day.
