'It's snowing again,' I thought while looking up at the dark clouds in the sky. ‘ It's coming down pretty
hard, I show hurry up and get home’ I started waking faster when I heard someone honk their home and call my name,” Hey, Y/n do you need a lift we are on our way home” my roommate and best friend Vel, looked at my through the rolled down window smiling. It nodded vigorously up and down.
I walked closer to the and got in. I saw my other roommate/ best friend Alice in the back seat. In a curled-up ball shivering, ‘the poor girl looks like a human popsicle’ I thought, Alice was not used to cold weather, really none of us where, we were Californian girls afterall.
I chuckled, I turned my head to face her “ Hey pumpkin, How you doing” she slowly turn her head and with a shakky smile “ii-i’m ddoiing good, how-w about you-u , how was class?” i chucked “it was good”. Vel looked at you in the corner of her eye and chucked,” we are almost home, pumpkins hang in there. “the human popsicle nodded her head. A few minutes later we were at our house. A low meow caught my ear. I turn my head to see a box on our doorstep. I walked up the stairs and saw a big box full of kittens in it with a note on the door.
“Dear Y/n, this is your favorite Aunt Mino and i know what you're thinking kid ‘you're my only aunt’. So here is the deal, kiddos I was on an Expedition and I just so happen to come across these lovely kittens. I want to take them in and live with me buuttt… I have no more room in my house for 16 kittens. So well I renovated my house. I was hoping you could take care of them for a few weeks, Of course your darling aunt won’t let this go unawarded. I will pay you and your friends for taking care of them. I have one rule with them and one rule only. DON’T I REPEAT DON’T KISS THEM ON TOP OF HEAD. This is important. I looked back at the box of kittens and then back at the note. Sigh, ‘ this is going to be a long winter break’ I pulled out my keys and opened the door. I was just about to bend down to pick up the box of kittens, when Whoosh, a flash of orange ran past me and into the bathroom. Vel walked up to me and looked at the box and then back at me. I gave her an awkward smile, I knew what was coming next either a sigh with the shake of the head or eye roll with the nod. I am really hoping for the second one cuz that's her way of saying yes. Vel looked at me and rolled her eyes then bent down and helped me pick up the box and put it inside the kittens were still Meowing but then I heard a “shishishishi~”. Vel gave me a look like ‘what in the world have you gotten us into.’ My aunt did have a habit of leaving surprises for my friends and I.
One time she sent us a mummy but he wasn't like a gross mummy you see in the movies. This one was kind of cute but he was a bit trouble some. He loved to cook with Alice but it wouldn't end very well. He would always get hurt or accidentally cooked. Another time she sent a phoenix but it look more like a red pigeon. I think you can already tell how this is going. Let's just say that we became good friends with the fire department. There where other surprises she sent but that is a story for another time.
